Hell Ancients for Wind Druid

Hit the Ancients at level 78, and they slay me quickly. Now up to level 80 wind druid. Maxxed tornado, hurricane, grizzly, now working on twister.

My tornado does 2147-2291, hurricane does 1265-1357. Cyclone armor absorbs 1422 elemental damage. My grizzly bear has over 1600 life and does 1391-1498 damage. I have 753 life (1129 if the stupid oak sage would stay alive for more than a second or two).

I have yet to kill even a single ancient. The only thing keeping me alive at all is my bear tanking for me. Sometimes the leaping guy kills me even if I'm at a full run. Another guy takes down my cyclone armor in one hit.

Any suggestions, or am I gonna have to level some more.

how odd. keep your merc and critters alive at all costs, avoid the ancients, use ravens?, thats all i did. :) i whacked em at like lvl 64 or sumthin

Hmm, as I recall when I did it I had a friendly Paladin tanking for me.

You may be getting bad mods on the Ancients. Also what is your FCR? You might not be casting fast enough. What is your FRW? You might not be running fast enough.

I don't remember them being that tough either.

Also if this is on single player make sure that it's set to players 1 :thumbsup: .

keep your bear alive .. and your sage .... if you dont have max block it'll be a problem

I slayed em pretty at level 84 and it was piece o cake... just let your merc and grizzly do the melee jod and keep casting that tornado behind them.
