Wolf Druid Stats

Hi, my wolf druid is a level 70, and i was hoping you guys could help me with stats. So far I have his str at 200 (alot of people told me to have it at this) this is with the equipment on, im not sure of base str. And his dex is around 130 (base). Should i dump the rest into vit from now on (i put 0 into energy). He is using and eth botd ghost spear (409%) and does 2k -11k dmg so he seems to be ok in dmg department. I was just wondering if boosting dex would help or if i should just go straight into vit. Also on this point right now he uses a carrion wind and a c-grip, as well as a maras ammy. Should i give him the angelic ammy and rings instead for added attack rating or no. thanks for the help.

Hi! PvM or PvP? And which spirit are you using? How many points in WW?

If you have a traditional fury werewolf, 20 points in WW and HoW, then you should have more than enough attack rating to hit monsters. If this is PvP, more attack rating could come from a good ravenfrost, good sharp/fine small charms of vita and steel charms.

Either way, I wouldn't pump dexterity anymore.

I suppose 2k-11k is pretty good, but a botd ghost spear is ultimately a slow weapon for a werewolf.

I'd try trading that botd for a botd great poleaxe, you will notice serious improvements in speed.

as for dex, i keep it high enough for max blocking with SS on my weapon switch. The wolf may be a nice tank, but there are situations where you just wont survive without blocking. And all that dex really helps the attack rating.

my Druid has his strength at 272 (70 or so from items), and about 220 vitality. Dexteritiy I largely ignored but then I needed it for all these nice Spears available. Now I have it at 130 and still my attack rating sin't too good in act 5 hell. Only about 65% to hit, though he is very, very fast, so sometimes it makes no difference. I have about 1670 life without Oak Sage, but I recommend Oak sage :)

I would look what the chance to hit is in act 5 hell and then decide where to put the points.

Should always get just enough pts to hit reqs for gear. Everything else into vita. I concur with ForceFeedback, raven frost gives very nice ar.
