If it has only 1 soc when ided, can you add more? I have a 1 soc, but don't know what to do with it besides put it on my merc.

No you cant add more sockets either, so merc weap! :uhhuh:

I think Amn if it doesnt have life leech (can't remember) or Hel to reduce the req if you feel necessary.

putting a hel rune in the tombreaver for a merc? its not like you can change his stats pts. besides, its an ethereal tombreaver, its str and dex requirements are already reduced. iirc, the str requirements for it is 153? anyways, a shael or amn i guess would do for the merc. nope theres no leech on tombreaver. but the insane speed, resists and extra damage to undead are simply awesome.

40%ias on the weapon would give it a 6/4fpa fury, very nice. which is why one of THE best werewolves 2 handers would be an ethereal tombreaver with 3 skts, shael shael zod it. or for a pole ww'er barb, ohm ohm zod.

i would go for this anyday vs a botd. eth gpa gives 8/5fpa. i like the speed and resists.

unfortunately there is no way to add extra sockets to an already socketed weapon, if there were, then i wouldnt see the point of why there would be a 1-3 skt mod. :)

Actually I planned to do two 40/15's and a zod. More avg dam/sec then my 400/15 botd eth ogre maul + 4fpa.

I'm more of a pvm then pvp. Right now I have a non eth tomb with 2xshael and 1xamn. Its ok, but it doesn't do enough damage in pvp or pvm to replace my botd which is my one hit killer. As for casters, there's no chance of gettings them anyways lol. Druids are freaking slow as hell chasing down people. I put enigma (45% faster run/walk) on and a bunch of 3% faster run walk scs, and it still wouldn't catch my pally without vigor on much less anything that can tele.

i think if you have that, there is no point in using botd
