some of you know that this is a goodbye d2 post.. and some of you know i've said this is in the past..but i didnt feel complete in the past.. now... i do.. diablo is no longer something i like to do anymore, i get bored rather quickly by it, so.. ive decided, why do something you dont even like anymore? so.. im quitting d2, yep, for good, its been needed to be done... some advice, dont let this game ruin your life.. if you start to feel that it is.. quit.. quit right away.. its not worth the consequences.. :bow:

I quit D2 a while back... I play GB and Sacred now. And spam here.

Funny thing about quitting, you don't miss the game. Go and play outside, pick up a sport hobby, enjoy life.

hey all, i havent been here in a while and i was just wondering how everyone is doing, im doing great, i play bass guitar and im getting pretty damn good at it now, i love not being on the comp 24/7 but lately ive been playing wc3 a lil too much, i also picked up sacred to try it out but it was horrible and a waste of $40, its completely random, and just tries to be a d2 copy and failed at it, i love how im doing right now, Happy 4th of July all, just wanted to stop by and say hello. best wishes to everyone :buddies:

If you find the game boring, you might:
be rushing. never rush a single thing
never take a waypoint from anyone.
Run in small parties that dont telebaal for exp.
Drink alcohol while playing. fine belgium or german beers are good, or top shelf liquors, no cheap stuff.
learn to use ebay to make this thing pay sometimes here and there.
try your own builds and force youself to stick it out to 85+ without telebaaling.
Never make a character with less than 150 mf on it total. No plays a character forever (that I have seen) who cant turn that crappy yellow thing to gold on the good item level drops.
Make a super fast mf character, and a few chars that have STYLE.
Blizzard sorc, Hammerdin, WF zons, Skellie/bone necros, do NOT have style, they are power builds.
Drink alcohol while playing. fine belgium or german beers are good, or top shelf liquors, no cheap stuff.
Collect gear and sort them, pack rat all sorts of stuff :) i have a collection of al lthe unique gear in game. i then had some stuff deleted on inactive account. sux. gota look again. need a centurion and a patriarch, also now need the new things some more too.

yeah when i look at all my collected crap spanned over many holder chars, I think, dang imagine not having this glorious stuff.

BTW, the game isn't ruining your life. I used to think the internet was the reason I didn't do homework, so when my computer broke, I didn't fix it.

3 months staring at the ceiling and thinking rather than sitting in front of the computer.

Conclusion: It's just me, not the internet. Have to fix myself. :cool:

I reached more or less the same conclusion a while back, if it isn't one thing it's another, but ash is trying to get rid of it, except that he's sucked into WC3 now, the poor soul, oh well, he quit it more out of boredom than anything else, based on what he's said anyways

actually at the most i only play wc3 for 3 hours, at the way most, and thats pretty rare, and it truly was the game, because my grades have improved quit a bit even though i f'd up on my exams.
