would it be better to use combat gc's or offensive gc's. more points in conc = more dmg or more points in hammer? is the dmg that much different?

Combat Charms will give a greater boost to Hammers than Off Charms... but Off Charms are less expensive. If you can afford it, Combats are the way to go. It also gives you a nice fat bonus to Holy Shield as well, which never hurts.
Use combat GCs. The points directly added to hammer boost it more than points added to Concentration.

the difference is about 15% greater damage from combats, although offensive still give a pretty good boost. using offensive means hammers aren't quite as mana intensive if that matters.
Combat skillers always add more dmg then offense skillers. Even with the most possible amount of +skills.
Hmm just based on some calculations (no actual testing), it seems that after a certian point offensive would help more because, where as blessed hammer increased the base damage (which is then increased by synenergies and concentration), concentration gives a % increase to the total damage. Which means that, as you have more + skills in blessed hammer, concentration adds a greater ammount of damage.
