My NEw Hammerdin

Hi all. Finally i could equipp my new hammerdin ( lvl 79).Here is the gear that he is currently using:
hoto ( 31 resis)
shako(clean)
hoz(clean)
gurdian angel
47 wartrav
+2 combat skill 10 fcr ammy
arachind
2* 30 nagel
1 combatgc.
currently his hammer damage is 6.8k and he has lvl 19 holy shield.
But his problem is resistance.I think if he goes to hell, he will have pretty low resistance.So what do u guys suggest? I can socket my hoz with a p diamond, shako and ga with um.will that max my resistance?btw, i want to upgrade my ga.but i know that it will require a lot of strength.currently his strength is only 130 and i can get 10 more strength from normal and nm act3 quests.lookin for ur suggestions.

drop war travs for dual/tri-resist (+mf possible) rare boots of some kind, get the str elsewhere

trang's gloves + mara's instead of fcr ammy would add up to 30/30/30/60 cold

if necessary drop 1 nagel for best resist ring you can find

1 combat? you got plenty of room for resist charms, which are easy to come by

wear a kiras guardian helmet(ist)

urg, please dont put an ist in a helmet!. the extra 1% MF over a p gem isnt going to help. And there soooo much more expensive

Not Sure if this will help you or not but here is my set up for my lvl 81 PVM Hammerdin:

Helm: Shako with Um (15 resist)
Ammy: Maras (24 resist)
Weapon: HOTO Flail (30 resist)
Armor: Guardian Angel
Shield: HOZ with PDiamond (69 resist)
Gloves: Magifists
Rings: both BK Rings
Belt: Arachnid
Boots: Sandstorm Trek

With this setup i have 90 resist in hell after doing all 3 save anya quests.
He also does about 11k with his hammers :)

there's always wiz, too. won't cost you that much hammer damage really, and you'll be chugging a lot less mana pots :drink:

ive seen maras with 30 resist go for a soj
i got a 24 maras for a hoz

don't upgrade ur hoz pls its a total waist i did it to my 193%ed hoz and it gave me like 30more def and 60more strength req not worth it at all.
