View Full Version : The stupidest thing I've ever done, need some generosity.
Just a few minutes ago, waiting around to trade my Um and a Warcry GC for a HoZ(which I badly need for my paladin). So I'm waiting, and I decide to put them in my stash for safe keeping... and slap the um right into an Aldur's Star I had sitting there! :hanky: That was my only way to get an HoZ, and until I do, my Pally's useless... Needless to say that I smacked my head against the wall a good few times. Dunno if we need sob stories here on the forums... not sure this belongs here, but anyone care to take pity on a victim of fate, give me a low(the one I was gonna get was 196) ed HoZ for a Warcry GC plus an SS and maybe some other stuff(Gaze, bit lower runes, etc)? Any help in this hour of need would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Dude don't feel bad believe it or not lol (you probaly wont) I lost a $@%$ Jah rune I picked up this 3os dusk shroud planning on making enigma then i realized it was only 254 defense..I went to put jah in the inevntory and bam YAY A JAH'D DUSK SHROUD! w/ mooker89 if you need some help non ladder :yep:

That's not a sob story, finish it off with the Ith+Ber and trade it to someone who doesn't know any better for something good. Some people will give A LOT for anything that says "Enigma"...

lol your not the only one....I just killed my zoded etheriel hoz :( Apparently when you upgrade armor (not weapons) it loses its etherial bonuses. So now all I have is an upgraded normal hoz with a zod rune it, haha
What rhelm are you in and is it non ladder or ladder. I got some items that you might want (4 free)
My story is worse. I lost a 85% enhanced defense chains of honor archon which was just money to blizzes rune scanner today, and to top it off, I sold my chaos claw that was 8% ed from perfect that had +2 weapon block/dragon flight/dragon tail. I'm feeling pretty down :(

Friend did something like this. He was making a 4-ist Monarch and was trading for his last Ist. He was moving his runes over from his person to stash and BAM. A 3 Ist'd Indesutructible Monarch was born. lol Yup, he accidentaly stuck a Zod in the Monarch. Needless to say he was pissed :P

dang...those are some sad stories.....i can't compete though one day i might. hope my luck isn't tat bad. i have some shields fer u but i can't afford to give a hoz.

What are you trying to say poster? Because you messed up you want someone from these forums to give you items.
We have all done or lost something in this game to cause us to take a step back, but to say your pally is worthless because you don't have a hoz is stupid. Make a rhyme or use a lidless ect... ect... ect...

Chill out dude, if you read his post correctly he does not ask for a HoZ for free but simply for a reasonable deal. In fact, if by SS he means Stormshield then he is overpaying for HoZ by quite a way.
Sadly I play uswest and am badly in need of a HoZ my self Synth but based on the responses so far at 1 negative out of 9 I would say you should be able to get a hand. Otherwise it is hard to imagine a Pal build that would be useless without HoZ. It is a great shield but there are many rares which come close and bridge the gap untill your luck changes. Hang in there.

also, on East Ladder a Hoz is worth much more than a SS or a warcries charm. nothing personal Synth, but why not go out and spend your time running Meph to get more tradables instead of asking for generosity and/or a bargain basement trade in a forum where (unless I am mistaken) you have never posted before? You should be able to drum up something in a night of MFing, and you might even find yourself your own HoZ.
Too many sob stories, and not enough people going out and working for themselves...

synth do this if you are having trouble with getting a good sheild. Make a rune worded elite sheild. Out of a pally sheild with high resists on it before hand. Bolth rhyme and pledge sould work. I would only stick to the sigons if I was playing a hammerdin.
