View Full Version : CLASSIC Java Lf
Hey I just registered for this forum so wut up ya'll? I just made a CLASSIC (I cannot stess this enough because I see too often that people refer to LOD in CLASSIC post  ) javazon and I'd like to make a good pvm and maybe a decent pvp. I've read a few post on this and I came up with this build of skills tell me wut ya think.
20-Lightening Fury
20-Charged strike
10-Pierce
6-critical strike
5-dodge,avoid,evade
1-slow missle
I realize there is room for more pts, so let me know where to put them.
This would be used for hopefully fast lvling and maybe a duel here and there.
Stats? CLASSIC items?

I can guarantee you one thing, that build will not work at all in PvM. I play Classic too... And in Classic there is no type of -Lightning Resists to enemies. There is NO way of killing a lightning immune with a pure lightning Amazon, she needs to be more balanced. Now, since you're already building on the Spear tree, get a good rare Spear with nice attack speed and keep it in your inventory until you come across those Lightning Immunes. Switch weapons (NOT WITH W) and attack. If you want a 3rd element of attack so nothing is immune to you then invest in the Poison Skills. Try to get them to a high level, as the +skills you can have is 9. Also, there are no magic Javs in Classic, so maybe being pure melee... (lightning/physical) Personnaly, I hate Javazons that throw.
If you want to duel, a Jabazon is good. Although you have no shield, you only invest 1-10 points in Jab and then the rest is in the Passive Tree. So therefore D/A/E become open to tonnes of skillpoints, which would probably be better then block because it's cut to 1/3 while running. But if you're going this way, don't invest 20 points in each because each skillpoint increment because increasingly useless. Critical Strike will become more of a must. 10 points should do, but you can put more in if you want.
If you're going to be a LF/CS Zon, don't be afraid to put some into energy, or be prepared to use Frosties or heaps of Mana pots.
Stats should be:
LS/CS/(*Physical/Poison):
Strength: Enough for Equipment
Dexterity: Enough for Max Block and Equipment
Vitality: Most as possible
Energy: As much as needed
Jabazon Dueler:
The exact same but NO points in energy.

I dont agree with this. I DONT play classic, but this holds true in both classic and exp pac.
You dont have to kill every monster. No boss will ever be light immune and phys immune. (except pindle if you consider him a boss)
I would much rather have the most dmg for what I use, than be "balanced".
Its a matter of preference I suppose. Like I said, this should apply to classic as well, but I do not play classic.
Yeah I like the idea of doing high lightening damage, but I'm still having a hard time deciding which attack to use besides lightening. Poisen is annoying because it really doesn't do enough dmg fast enough. With that being said, which other attack is a strengh in the Amazon class? Just so I have a backup incase they are immune to lightening.
If I could get some recommended gear that would be nice also. Thanks for the help so far.
I was wondering if impale is something worth investing in? I would use this only when a monster/person is immune to lightening or has a high resist. Is the dmg worth the possibility of dmging the weap? I think it would be. Gold comes and goes. What ya think?
It deals more dmg than any other malee attack right? And has a low mana cost...
