Well, yesterday was a great day for jeska indeed. Picked up a nature's piece, Skako, Tgods, BK Ring, and a 4/5 Lightning Facet (found a 5/5 Fire Facet the day before). I'm begining to trade for runes to make Vex (and eventually HOTO). I figure I'm about 3/4s of the way there. We'll see how trading goes tonight.

Also traded one of my Tgods for IK Armor :). My Barb is WW for about 4.5 now.

UmAlso, Neo, I no longer have a G.Bane for you, sry. I can hook you up with something like D.Shell and a decent Merc weapon if you want. Man, Gaze/G.Bane/Threasher is a great combo.

Ok, So I'm trying to do tha rune value calculation on how close I am to Vex. I think I have enough. let me know if you think somehting is worth less or more:

Tgod - Um
+1 Valor - Pul
+1 Valor - Pul
Gaze - Um
Nature's Piece - Mal (tried for Ist and no one bite, still have the ring)
Shako - Ist
BK Ring (4%) - Ist
Skulder's (P.Topaz) - Mal/Ist
4/5 Light Facet - Ist
5/5 Fire Facet - Gul

The Shako and BK ring give me Gul. I already have a Mal, and if Skulder's only went for Mal (plus my Mal makes Ist) and the 4/5 Light facet (ist), that give me another Gul, so I can make Vex.

All you uber traders out there let me know if you think I'm on teh right track.

49 travs imo are worth more then mal rune

ive seen ppl offering alot for perfect one so a 49% should be worth about as much :)

Actually Kyle, I've already put a Sheal Rune in it to speed it up. When the merc hits 83 he will recieve Andy's Visage (courtesy of Bill and Opal) with an IAS Jewel, to hit a 7 frame jab I believe.

Kyle, Driving is grand. I got my license in march, and haven't stopped yet :D.

I guess since I have been away, I have missed this discovery, but a fireball sorc does alot of damage now, aye. I was doing some rudamentary calculations in math, and i was coming out to about 1700 base damage with maxed synergies and fire mastery. Is that true? Seems likea really deadly spammer, especially for the cost. I am going to make one, and then try and get a bunch of plus to sorc skills/fire skills, so i can get like, level 35 skills for all the synergies and fireball. Should be killer (another one of my many side projects). MY final four standings of the last characters I am making are:

Fury/Feral Rage Druid (since the old one expired)
Fireball Sorc (since it looks promising)
Summoner Necro
Lvl 9 pker assassin

So I figure i will waste an hour or so some time soon just doing runs on him with my sorc. Should take me about 45 seconds tops for each run, so I should get a good 70-85 runs in. Then, off to the arcane sanctuary for the Rest of my needed charms and JEwels, and then i will finally gather the necessary equipment from Nm/hell bloodies. Probably the hardest thing to find will be the dang Ethereal 3 socketed Blade Talons.

On a side note, any idea when they are resetting the Ladder? Seems like only yesterday when they released v1.10. Once they reset/my characters all die or kill hell baal solo, I will leave this blasted game. I say this hopefully of course, knowing full well that is a big if.

I've found another good place to try to gather bulk LLD equipment is normal cows in high playercount games. You can scout games with a mule, plow them down really quick with a javazon and score about 4-6 charms/jewels per run. With a little bit of luck, one of them will be a worthwhile LLD item. A lot of the times you get charms that are not godly, but still helpful (6 strength grand lvl 10, etc). I bumped a fighter to level 10 just to use up all the oddball stat grands I had, and I did it again with a level 14 to use all the "small charms of life" I had accumulated.

ive always believed that what separates a good char to a godly char are charms. well, so far, out of my 5 played chars, none has the famous 10 skiller/10 vita sc setup (closest i have is 2skiller/2vita). im trying to figure out where to actually find them (since i never, ever trade at the hc chan). suggestions?

btw, if you have any of these skillers, GIB EM TO ME NOW!!!!!111ONE!!!

WOW. I didn't realize he got banned. I guess it was for the posting of the PM on the forums. He certainly had strong opinions but I thought he was a good guy. I've played with him on a couple of teams and I think he's a fun guy to game with. Bummer :(

Posting a PM that you've received without the authors permission is a major no-no on the forums. It's not mentioned specifically in the rules, but it should be a common sense thing. A PM, as was stated already, is PRIVATE Message, not a PUBLIC message.

Take a look at his "ignore" thread. It explains it all.

As of 1:30 I still had my HOTO that I made this morning. Mine might be safe because I know the Ko,Pul,Thul were not Dupes, and I cubed up the Vex from Malx6 and Ist. So, we'll see. I tried it out with my Eth Shako and to tell the truth, I like full Tals a lot better.

iirc if you cube up to the higher level runes they don't go poof when they do a dupe scan. ie. its better to trade for 2 x gul and make a vex than to trade for a vex itself.

It was cool to (finally) see some misfits on GW last night. My referral kinda got lost or something. Anyway, sry I couldn't play with you guys. I was havin a tough time walking around town with only 4 fps. I'm going to grab new vid card tonight on the way home from work. I hopefully I'll see some more of you on tonight and you guys can help me get up to speed.

I have 2, one (the one I got in on) doesn't cut it (4 fps in town) and the other is playable (20 fps). (I couldn't find you guys last night after I got on the other card. I need a crash course on whispers or something.)

The CoH Beta didnt work out. They cut the release date by like 2 days, so the 3 day early start for the preorder's starts tommorow so beta stoped at 12:00 this morning...Talk about bad timeing. O well guess i wont be buying that game.
Also, phur any word on beta??And wether or not they are gana alow under 18 in? Im gana go insane with out some new rpg to play. Untill i finally get into some new rpg, i guess im gana buy Unreal Tournement 2k4 tonight...Ive been playing the demo for a few months now, and its a demo and i still play it atleast once a day. Went out and bought UT2k4 today...Took me a while to talk my parents into fronting me the money untill i got paid but they gave in eventually(like always :D) Havnt been able to quite get into it yet...But i played a few matches and i must say its living up to what i expected it to be... Though this game is not for the lower end computers. Even with my monster rig i had to turn down some of the settings because of my vid card.(Note to self...get new video card, and soon)And also i only have 512 ram. But that is getting upgraded soon to 1.5 gig ram. But all that aside like i said if your looking for a good fast paced areana type shooting game with some space type playing, and vehicles thrown in...This is the game for you.

Did you get that crash course? Actually, Sky is running a GeForce 2 and I'm running a GeForce 4. There was a fps problem in certain areas the night we saw you in town, so it may not have been your video card. They corrected it later that night.

meh, life aint very fair is it? sorry i just need to vent a lil.

i'm a hardcore mfer, thats all i ever do nowadays. my f list is pretty much doing the same. this is all well and good; i do find decent items every now and then, as do they (the f listers).

but i guess what irritates me is when the game is designed such that the best items can be found in act1, without really no danger to a well built character. one of my f lister found more items of value in 2 days of mfing that i did since pretty much when i came back (around 1.5 months ago). and of course, i am still running baal, fighting my way through the gloams while he drinks beer and parties with them rogues. how sad.

of course i know it's all about luck, but of course he only mf's on weekends, and finds more and better things in 2 days than i do within that week (i mf around 3hrs/day on weekdays). and this is not just a one week occurence, this has been going on for months.

i'm actually not sure what to do. i absolutely LOVE doing baals, and abhor the pits, but to each his own i guess.

Early night for the Neo, he has a job interview tomorrow at 10am.

I really want this job, I've had my current job for 2 years now and I'm only making $5.50/hr (35 cents above minimum wage). Getting out of a kitchen will be a nice change of environment for me. If the interview goes well I'll be moving into retail.

I'll tell you guys and gals how it went after I get back tomorrow.

Other then that I have been giving my sorc a rest for a bit, Jarabe and myself have decided to try to waalk thru hell with 2 hammerdins seems easy till we gt to maggot lair no room for hammers, Jarabe went melee and I stayed behind casting holy bolt to keep him alive :D

The interview went great. It was very informal, we sat on cardboard boxes in the backroom. The store opens on wednesday, so I should be recieving a call pertaining the job sometime very soon. The pay will be less than what I'm making right now, but the perks more than make up for that. 40% off clothing and appearal, and 100% reimbursment on concerts.

By the way, it's Hot Topic, and I love their clothing (no that isn't the reasoning behind applying there)

Most of their locations are within malls, this one is in a "Big Box" shopping center that has recently gone up near my home. I didn't ask if any concert counts, but I would assume that it has to be some sort of metal concert. (Tool, GNR, Rammstein, Iced Earth, and so on...)

Edit: On the wage thing. I currently recieve $5.50/hr after 2 years. Hot Topic starts at $5.35/hr with a raise after 3,6,and 12 months, each up to .25 then up to a $0.50 raise annually.

Actually... the game is in alpha stage, but is pretty awesome...especially if you consider that its still in alpha. :thumbsup:
