Well, my USEast HCL account just got hacked by *sexy-joe. I was talking to him in this game and he sent me "something I might like" to my email. I'm so stupid, so I gave him my email, opened his email but nothing was in it. I'm like "ooook". Then I get booted off bnet, and all of a sudden my password doesnt work. So yeah anyways I'm starting off fresh on USWest instead. Looking for some buds to play with. My account is *subver. I'll prolly be on. Or you can reply here.

I'm sorry to hear about the hack job. I'm curious as to how this worked. Would it NOT have worked if you had signed out of B.net before opening e-mail?

It just kind of sickens me that "some" people will do whatever they can to exploit any and every possible angel to lie, cheat and steal. And for what end? Better equipment on D2?

I'm holding on to the hope that the majority of the people out there are still good, but the flag I'm flying says "Trust No One".

But anyway, I might be able to help you out, let me send you an e-mail. Sorry, just kidding. I couldn't resist. I'm in therapy for that right now, I'm getting better.

There are quite a few decent gamers out there. Problem is, there are many pains in the rear, as well, and they tend to make themselves noticed much more often that a coop gamer will.
The problem is, that email may well have installed a keylogger or a trojan that will email your password again.
Were I you, I would scan my computer using some anti-spyware software, because it may be that your account could be compromised again at any moment.
And, get a firewall.
I wont recommend any particular software, but be careful what you install to scan your computer.
Some anti-spyware programs are as bad as what your trying to remove.
