Whats wrong withe hellrack?

I have read quite a lot of threads how to build a "perfect" bowazon. They all mention that you should get wf, eaglehorn, buriza or lycander but I havent seen not a single thread where the main weapon is hellrack. Is there something wrong with it because it does more damage than any other weapon mentioned above?

unless u want a SS on switch, then most bow/xbow users wouldn't have anywhere near 163. Even a WF "only" needs 134.

the extra 30+ u can put into dex helps up the damage to these lesser damage bows, although a WF at highish level will do much more max damage, and before i get yelled at by the Witchyzons, much less min damage, not taking into account the +elemental damage on the Hellrack.

It's the speed, xbows can reach like 11fpa and normal bows reach 8 or 7 with similiar %IAS.

I like the hellrack because of the added elem. dmg. And the low speed, you get used to it.

hellrack is a good heavy damage xbow, but come to think about the porperty of being an amazon, the less to spend into str the better, cuz str does nothing to help, only dex is importain in term of boosting your damage. and plus hellrack is too slow.
personally, i wouldn't spend that much str points, cuz i need high hp and damage to survive and ias to kill monsters before they kill me :wave:
