hi all i'm wanting to make a pvm cc kicker and was thinking of this build:
max ts
max d tail
max venom
6 sm
1 each shadow disipline
10 wb
rest in cot
the thing is i want to use coh archon plate but ive heard/read conflicting reports that the % dmg to demons/undead will/won't work with d tail
can someone plz clear this up for me any help would be great :worship:

ED on armor(not weapon) works on Kicks, so I don't see why ED to demons/undead wouldn't. Just a word of warning, though, don't expect the ED to make that much of a difference in Kick damage, due to the way ED on armor gets figured in the Kick damage equation.
IMO, on your skills:
I'd switch out the 20 Venom for 20 PS, and instead work on putting points in Venom after you max CoT and PS. 20 Venom alone won't be enough to deal with PI/FIs in Hell, esp. when they come in huge groups. Venom is great as a supplementary skill, but can't make up for a full elemental skill like CoT + PS.

Are you sure? I tested this with grave palm and LoH and it didn't seem to change the amount of damage my kicks did...I definately noticed it on the charge up though. Do you mean armour as in Body Armour?

ED on armor(applies to all armor, including belts, gloves, boots, etc.) does not register in the Character Screen, but definitely works with Kicks (http://www.rpgforums.net/showthread.php?t=127905)(check the Kick damage equation and the 2-3 paragraphs of explanation on non-weapon ED below it) in practice. Damage to Undead/Demons hasn't been confirmed AFAIK, so I can't comment on that.
