1.hey, im working on a pvp amazon i dont know if im going for pure pvper or pvp and LF to lvl up and kill stuff. im also wondering how effective a valk would be in pvp, they might be good for buffering damage? otherwise my zon is a typical pvper, its at lvl 20 now and im gona max out GA, and possibly evade. my equipment (i play d2c) is a twitchtroe, deaths hand and deaths sash (for 30 IAS), vildas fetlocks, howltusks, 2 mandal heals, and my bow has 23-100 damage fast attack speed gothic bow. oh and what do you guys think of the iceblink armor (what does freezes target mean?)
2.what would be the ideal equipment for a zon (non uber items)? notice im a casual player so im probably not gona find a windforce!
3. post your dueling startegies and stories
1 time i zon v zonned sum 1, i was expecting a GA spam fest but the guy unexpectedly used slow missles on me (i was totally unprepared for that!) my GAs were all going really slow, and it was like bullet time fighting, exect the other guy was neo and i was the poor swat team

The "freezes target" mod is a PvM armor, if the hit is successful it will freeze the target, the chill length is 1/2 in NM and 1/4 in Hell. Id keep twitch though, lighter armor means faster running and iceblink is nothing compared to it.
if valk is maxed with a few points in decoy, you can have a pretty pvp viable merc. cast it against those damn town guarding sorcs and watch them get owned. my valk is level 32 with about 8 points into decoy. (80 resist i think) but it absorbs ALL light/fire/cold attacks. including blizzard and meteor. plus, it kills sorcs in 1 hit :cheesy: poor sorcs donno what hit them

oh man im getting owned by charge paldins, once they get close to me a couple of pokes and im dead. how can i counter then, is the attack always hit? can i possibly use evade to evade the attack? the charge skill is way overpowered, while being hit your cast into a un movable lag and get tossed around every where!

Trap them using marrowwalk bone prison charges. you need to fast though.

one thing you should know ( if your a bowazon ) is that if a charger gets close enough to hit you; you will die. so don't worry if your getting killed by chargers, all do unless they have like lighting fury or something oO

try max slow (50%) on chargers. BM but works

Ok, 50% slow, 100% OW, kb,4k poison, does that about cover it? :)
not so noobish advice would be to use the terrain (puddles etc)

Nopr there are no slow charges. Items like clegaws gloves and blackhorns face have slow on them though, in case you wanted an example. Dont worry we were all n00bs once and had ridiculous questions.

He said use slow on CHARGERS (paladins), not use slow charges.

It's really useful if you have a jav/shield on the weapon switch. (if this is classic, then you are dead) slow down to a walk, and walk around puddles. The charger will have a really hard time hitting u.

No WW barb will ever beat a pally that has max fant, a few into HS and even ONE point into smite. All the pally has to do is hold shift and smite while the barb WWs thru him....trust me, I have a pure charger, and with my Upp'd HOZ, I never lose to WW barbs.

erhm i beat palas all day, even with there life-tapping duel aura(exile/draculs) smitting
and this is not bad pally's they kill just about eveyone els in the game but my barb
