A Big Warning to all duelers:

There is someone with a new hack on the lose that allowes them to pop your body. My friend was dueling a 75+ Sorc named Darkhalf- he was a level 85 Frenzy Barb names SwordSlingers, with the IK set (except maul) and Gimmershred. She killed him and when he ran back out to get his body we watched her pop his body and steal all his stuff. Here's the info we have:

1) My friend did not get killed a second time

2) My friend did not pick up any other items after dying

3) My friend did not click on his body before the sorc popped it, as he was too far away (a whole screen)

4) The body popping left his body on the screen, but it only contained his weapon switch

So everyone watchout! If someone has a friend in Blizzard, tell them to fix this hack quick!

Also, if anyone is offered Swordslingers' IK Armor- know that you are trading in stolen goods- and the trader might very well be the hacker.

hm, your friend must has visited a site containing a trojan that pops. This has happened to friend of mine before in the past, after he logged on to the site and DLd the trojan it brought him back on to D2 and all his gear started dropping and he lost control of his char so he couldn't pick it up.

My friend didn't download anything, and he didn't lose control of his char. The body just popped.

Wow that sucks. Having been popped 3 times (all before LOD), I know what it's like. This is terrible. Now there's no safe place to duel.
Don't count on Blizzard to fix this, ever.

bad luck m8, I aint seen body popping this patch yet, but one time I did loose control of my char, my inv opened and so I went bye bye's fast. Disconected internet, then came back on. Everything still there :) hehe had no problems since :) that was a year ago now. As for body pops ive been lucky and only ever had one, but it was when I was really really poor. I had been playing for about 2 days and kitted this guy out with 'good' (ie items you only think are good when you are very new) and all my stuff was nicked :( so I know how he must feel, because to tell you the truth I was more pissed off wen I lost that **** than when a so called m8 walks off with my godly cruel back in 1.09 hehe

Yes, or stop playing diablo and actually go to school so you can learn to spell. .then get some common sense and realize that "just dont die" isn't so "easy."

Weird...I don`t have any friends named Mr. especially Comma and Apostrophe...:lol: . I only know Tony, the little man that lives in my mouth...:scratch:

i have a barb and i have dueld many sorcs what i suggest is have all ik but maul one handed weapon in the other hand have blackoak to absorb cold dmg and ravenfrost amu. there are weapons that absorb fire dmg so if u did this u would be immune to cold and fire sorc as for lightnin well u messed up.(^_^)
