I'm having Mana Problems with my Javazon

I don't have much in the way of equipment. I'm looking for a way to fix it. LF just drains the mana so quickly. I'm running base mana and have some skill points saved, but I hate to put points into it when it will work out fine at higher levels.

I also find that I'm a paper cannon, even in NM. I'm really worried about Hell. Plus I'm maxing PJ. Its such a slow killer. I like it at times though. Its nice to be able to just poison people and run and then let them drop dead behind me trying to catch me.

But I'm running out of mana and getting into stun lock from taking multiple damage insteaad of delivering multiple damage.

The easiest way to solve the huge mana deficit LF gives is to wear a few items that give "mana per kill". Then the more and faster you kill monsters the more mana that comes in. Silkweave boots are an excellent way to alleviate this problem with +5 mana per kill.

good point, u could really try this by wearing a Lidless Wall shield which also has mana per kill on.

my furyzon has a Tal's mask socketed with a rare jewel with +3 mana/kill on it (plus some other nice stuff), so lots of leech, and a nice +3 per kill extra too :D

My gear is really really bad. I'm wondering if possibly I should do some MF runs to get more gear? I'm currently using no uniques.

A few equipment suggestions, and since they're all normal uniques or easily made runewords, they shouldn't be too tough to find without even leaving Act 1 NM. There are other equipment options, but these will be the easiest to get, and once you have them, getting better gear will be easier.

1) Frostburn gauntlets. The increased base mana pool is a HUGE help, both for having more to work with and because the more max mana you have, the quicker mana regenerates.

2) Manald Heal ring. The mana leech is obviously important, but just as important is the 20% faster mana regeneration. Those two are a very potent combination. Just keep running Andariel. If she doesn't drop one, something on the way to her eventually will.

3) Rhyme runeworded shield (shael-eth). 15% faster mana regen and several other tasty mods (resists, blocking, blocking speed, cannot be frozen, MF) make this, in my opinion, the best shield a javazon can have except for the Lidless Wall grim shield, but it might take you a while to find one or trade for it.

My current LF zon uses all three items I suggested and she never has mana problems except when facing unleechable monsters like Meph and skeletons.

I'd also switch that Bladebuckle (I guess that's what your belt is since your level is too low for Verdungo.) for either a Gloomtrap or String of Ears. Don't know how easy that is for you.

If all else fails, run back to normal and run the Act5 Super Uniques.

Pindle can drop both Titan and String.

Then get resist charms and life charms as a replacement for your amulet.

Don't forget... Use the Razortail belt. It doesn't have mana leech on it, but because you'll pierce, you'll do more physical damage to groups, which gives you more to leech from.

If i recall correctly, the physical damage part (which is the part you leech from) of the javelin needs AR to hit, as opposed to the lightning part which is auto-hit. So you may not be connecting with the physical part enough to leech well even if you have a good leech percentage. One good solution would be the Angelic amulet + 1 or two Angelic ring(s) combination. Also, the amulet has 20% damage goes to mana, which could help your mana problem in an arse-backwards kind of way.

I just use pots if I dont leetch enough. I use BK and Grifons and stuff like that so im not gonna sacrifice my massive damage, for leech.
