Poll: How long to level?

Just taking a quick poll

Considering how slow leveling gets at higher levels...what level do you stop leveling your chars? (If you do stop)

I usually aim to get my chars to lvl 85. If I use em alot for mf'ing after 85 then they will progress naturally up to the low 90's. But I don't do endless xp runs with any of em past 85, that gets right on my nerves.

i stop at 75 unless they need to be higher for gear or an mfer

Generally I get to low 80s before I start doing straight MFing, but some times I'll feel like a Baal run or 100 and will get higher into the 80s.

Lol I rarely ever did hell baal runs with my characters. I don't know why. But by the time I finish all my questing in hell, I end up around lvl80 anyways. A couple of pindleruns later...BOOM your lvl 87+

They are usually done somewhere between 82 and 87

i usually end up around 90+ as i only do mf baalruns with friends ~~ gotta love first kill every time

I regularly fall for the mistake of joining pubbies, where eventually half of the ppl will quit in the middle of an act and/or sombody brings in a character that helps get a quest easily/supplies WP's. That way I usually end up deep in act 5 hell around lv 75-80.

The only character who was "lucky" in pubbies and found a nice party that actually quested all the time reached lv 82 just by killing things.

In KTA, by doing all quests and only 5-10 Baalruns in Normal and NM, we usually end up with characters in the lv 83-87 range.

I often read about a build that I want to try out right away, so some characters get stuck while levelling. All told lv 77-80 seems to be the place where my characters get "abandoned"

I build all my characters off lvl 80. Anything higher is a bonus :)

Last one was a 78 javazon teleporting around with a tele staff trying to avoid gloams while hunting izzy...not blocking and significantly lower resists don't mix well with 0FCR teleporting O_O

80-90 for my melee builds

85-9x for my ranged builds

I find it so much easier to lvl a ranged char.

I stop lvling when I die because I pretty much always do. haha. But really I have a lvl88 assassin now and I was going to stop but I am only 1 lvl away from being on the assassin ladder...which will be my first char to even come close to being on the ladder so I figure one or two more levels and she's done.

i usually have tstroke/rhyme on switch for when killing bosses, but this time i used the oh-so-sexy naj staff. when i doing a solo baal run, i accidentally pressed "w" instead of "1".....

I usually don't play a character past Guardianship. That equates to level 78-80. They have beaten the game and there is no point in playing them any more. Those characters I play past Guardianship are MF characters and level naturally from MF runs. The highest I have now is my level 86 Necro I use for pit runs.

Some I just simply get thru the gaem and stop while others go much farther. It all depends on thier abilities and purpose. I have one 76 Avenger that I havent played since getting to Baal run capable while I also have a 95 1/2 Sin and a 91 Barb, 89 Sorc, 89 Necro. Many 80-82 guys round it all out. We wont go into Classic ones.
