Grandfather Good?

I remember when i wanted a grabdfather so bad in 1.09
And then out of no where i guy gives me a free one fo rmy sowrd/shield barb
I was so happy but then i thought it was really that great is it just me or does this sword kinda suck now? thanks for you replies :drink:

i think the grandfather is of no great use. but still a good sword.

the best sword is botd cb, needless to say.

but for a barb, i agree with Hal, a botd berserker axe is the best one.

but either botd cb or botd axe is not that easy to get or trade. so i think in this case, grandfather is not a bad choice.

ba or cb... hmmm am i one of the few cb wielding baba out there ? i know a BA is better but the looks of the CB is way better.... Im proly one of the few caring about that.

the damage and requirement difference between CB and BA is just chips, once if you have BA, there's no way to kick some mobo *** with 2H power. :)

Does the sword suck now? xD it's the rarest item in the game! My dad had an eth Botd and still he misses his Grandfather! The only other elite unique he would choose is Doombringer, which is the only unqiue weapon that can even DARE compare. Believe me, Grandfather does NOT suck. Hellz, when I get a Botd, it and my Grandfather are gonna get personalized. :thumbup:

GF ain't that rare. Sure it's a high TC, but if you run plenty of TC87+ areas you'll get there.

1.07 GF is sexy as. I sure wouldn't mind it as an offhand frenzy weapon :)
