GF barb - your advise

Hi there!
I've just found a perfect Grandfather and now i feel the obligation to build a barb around this weapon :)
Unfortunately, I'm a total barb noob. My question is: what is the best (pvm) barb build around a Grandfather and what further equipment would I need?

Equipment:
Helm: go for arreat's face
Armor: if your gonna use ss + string // or verdungo's u dont need an armor with DR. So go for COH/or Enigma/or Stone rune-word armors.
Weapon: Obviously GF
Shield: Stormshield 4 DR and resists
Boots: Gores
Gloves: Draculs or / soul drainers/ or steelrends
Rings: 1 raven. 1 BK (to poor like me?? 2x ravens then) or angelic ring
Ammy: highlord's // angelic ammy
Swap weap: +3 warcry spears
Charms: Life, res, AR charms.

stats:
Str: Enough to use ur items
Dex: maybe 100+ base dex points, (enough to use gear and enough for some nice block)
Vit: Rest of your points in vit after you have allocated enough in str and ex
Energy: 0 ( BO will provide you with good enough mana , and if you have any mana leech items ur fine)

SKills:
20 WW
20 Swordmastery
20 B.O
20 Shout
1 zerk
1 Battle command
1 Nat res
1 faster run/walk
Rest in iron skin

Im making a similar build with BOTD CB as well

i would change a couple minor things. with so many points in vit you won't need a shield. hear me out....
you can get the 50% DR(max DR possible) from a shaft and a verdungo's/string. then you will be able to deal far superior damage with the 2 hand damage from the GF and as long as you have over 3K life and some good life leech, which you will for sure you will NEVER die...

also your rings, i agree with one ravenfrost. but for the other i would go with a high LL ring with some nice mods.... examples: + str/dex/life/resist

i think if ur doing this u may as well go ik set barb, + with the low defence of shaft + no shield id think u get hammered but i may be wrong the ll ml + the extra damage may make up for these ive never tryed it i just go shield
