Armor for my ww pvp barb

which would u guys say ..
i was thinking an archon plate enigma .. but then against bvb ..
dont u need like the highest defense armor ... like a 3k stone or
eth steel carapace .. which armor should i use ..i want my barb to
be all around effective .. so i guess ill keep my archon enigma ..
and for barb vs barb i should use wut ?

Barb Vs. Barb is:
Highest Dmg vs. Highest AR vs. Highest Def vs. Highest Life

A balance is required I feel. My barb had like (remaking):

13K AR, 3.8K Life, 5K Max Dmg (Iron Barb), and 30K Def Conc`ing

Get an Eth Steel and pul it. Stone highest I have seen is a 2.4K Sacred.

Enigma... blah! Yes it will balance out, but meh.

Just remember, that bigger armors reduce your speed.

so u dont like enigma .. u need it tho basically to duel anyone beisdes barbs .. i guess ill use my enigma until i can find an eth steel carapace

Gore riders
40-15 verdungos


i need to find either draculs for pvm and steelrends for pvp
and the eth carapace ..

i have angelic ammy and rings
and 2 x ravens

Yes I know, but iron barbs are just melee, not really for killing casters...

that is what my new cold sorc is for :thumbsup:

If I remember correct, though, that eth carapace has no other good mod besides def.

Ya you could say its only good mod is the def. But since it repairs by itself u dont have to use a zod rune in it. You could slap a ed jewel in it...or a cham rune..or a pul rune....or even a el rune if u want the light radius lol.

(faster hit recovery mod helps on that armor too :thumbsup: )

BvB only good armor= eth sacred Stone armor can get 3,5 + def..

remember to upgrade gores and arrats and socket helm/ shield/ (armor) with 40ed/str jewels

A good barb depends on his CHARMS, get 3/ar/life.. and plz dont use 3/20/20's...

if so how .. also .. should i still socket the eth arreats with an

DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR ETHEREAL ARREAT'S FACE. There is a bug where if you upgrade an ethereal piece of armor to elite, it stays ethereal, but doesn't apply the defense bonus, so you'd lose a TON of defense, AND the str/level reqs would go up. Leave it be.

I'd probably zod it myself, since it's not a glitched one.

Look up the Exceptional to Elite Unique armor upgrade recipe over in the diabloii.net horadric cube section. That will tell you what you need to know. It's ladder-only, mind you.

Sure, upgrade the gores, just never upgrade any ethereal exceptional armor to elite.
