I'd like some expert help with these questions please:

1) Does the passive skill 'weapon block' work on shadows?

2) What is the best way to get max resists on SW?

3) Is CoS cancelled by other auras/curses?

I'd appreciate any input you can provide - Darkwell

1) Yes I believe so, the shadow [master atleast] works off of your skill point placements including synergies. more detail if you check out the asn faqs.

2) Try to have her cast Fade by having it on a mouse button yourself, I've heard of Quad-Elemental Immune SW's, althought I don't know how that is achieved.

3) I do not believe so, as the 'steam' animation is still there when auras and curses are on monsters. test it out!

Thanks Dice

The reason I asked about curses/auras is that my assassin uses witchwild string. This has a 2% chance to cast amp damage on striking. After I have cast CoS and start shooting, amp is sometimes triggered. When this happens, the blinded(CoS) monster heads straight for one of my characters ( asn, merc or shadow) as if it lost the blinding from CoS.

1) yes but its calculated according to sw/sm skill lvl which is affected by ur slvl
2) max sw/sm
3) CoS is canceled by a curse, d2 seems to treat it as one, thus an aura may affect ur target

1) is this the 2/3 slvl + 1/2 shadow slvl formula ( I think I got right)

2) simple enough

3) darn, I was going to give my merc a delirium (confuse) crown when I reached Hell, have to modify my strategy now.

Thanks for the info

1. It's actually 1/3 the level of Shadow + 1/2 level of skill in question (http://strategy.diabloii.net/news.php?showcomments=true&id=538#How_do_you_calculate_the_skill_level_of_).

2. If you want to get some resists on your SWarrior, try setting Fade on your RMB and running around for a bit. Hopefully the SWarrior will catch on and activate Fade for some extra resists...

Now, what should I put points in first, fade or WB. I'm lvl 65 now and need to decide by lvl 70 (will be in Hell). I will have 21-22 skill points extra by then and currently have 1 point in each. All points must go into the shadow skill tree only(for character 'purity' reasons). Venom will have 20, SW 20, CoS 10 and BoS 5 and 20+ extra. Any suggestion will be welcome.
