Is there any way to add a considrate boost to my mana while still being PvP viable and without gimping my equipment too much?
I'm a cheap *rolls eyes* bonemancer, and use the following:
Shako
Enigma
Maras
2x SoJ
Arachnid
Marrowwalk
Trangs gloves
Homunculus
HOTO
I currently have about 550 mana at level 80, and I think that's rather sad. I sure as hell don't want to add points into energy.
Any helpers?

i use to have the same prob try and get cta you will then have around double the mana. Also if your cheap use mana pots!

replace Trangs gloves with frost burn maybe? mana/energy charms
replace Trangs gloves with frost burn maybe? mana/energy charms
I dont think that will work. He already have 2 sojs (and the frostburns will add to those increases, not multiplied by). What he need is things that adds +mana. This way, if you get an extra, say, 100 mana, you multiply it by your sojs and get a nice bonus.
BTW, which kind of build you use? 550 mana is short for bonemancers, but more than enough for skellimeancers, ie.

If its public duels, then get a cta on switch. If its private, however, you just need to aim your spirits and make every shot count. Doing that will make you a better dueler.
If you are still having trouble, then socket a p skull in your helm to help with mana regen. Also consider getting some life/mana small charms.
BTW, I noticed that you're casting at 75%. Try to get 125%.
PS. I don't know when people starting treating mana pots as acceptable, but its cheap...don't resort to it.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
Polarman: CTA isn't my type of thing because of the switching. I rather have a permanent type of thing than resost to temporary switching. Also about mana pots, sadly I have to use them. Cheap or not, it's how it goes with a bonemancer. If I'm cheap with marrowwalks, can't really get worse with pots. But point being, I don't want to resort to pots heh.
Meng_lin: Like triqui said, it wouldn't help much. Considering it would lower one more frame my FCR, I rather not do it.
Triqui: Yeah I have a bonemancer and the lack of mana is annoying, even at 75% fcr. 26 mana bone spirits on 550 mana sucks -.-;;
Pallidum: I never was really fond of mana regen, partly because a duel with me ends rather fast, win or lose. Mana charms are something I need, but I'm pretty filled up with pnb gcs. But the sacrifice would probably be profitable.
About the FCR. The thing is, I'm having IMMENSE problems trying to balance out FCR, damage reduce and resists. Even with 75% fcr I'm having difficulty maxing my resists in Hell. And with 125%, it's worse. There is a difference between the two, but I have to go defensively a bit.
At 125% I used darkforce and griffons eye, but other than a p diamond in the darkforce, it doesn't do much on the resist side of things. This to say I suck at pvm, and consequently at pvp. And the griffons eye, well it lowers my mana by about 150 when I put it on instead of shako. Icky.
ANY help would be appreciated. I try to switch to a SS when fighting melee, it helps to say the least with 75% blocking. But against sorcs, druids, trapsins, ugh. Turns into a "first hit wins" type of duel. I rather be the one winning them all :P

So I guess the only way out is mana charms by sacking pnb gcharms. Thought I'll wait for other reasonable suggestions before doing anything stupid. I rather be in the middle than on one end of the table. Resist/dmg reduce/fcr/mana wise. Life, meh, I can pass :P

I don't see how resists can be a problem. I mean you should carry a variety of gear in your stash for so you can prepare for all duels. A 15 resist all jewel in wizspike gives u 90 resist all alone. An umed homunculus gives you 62 more. And a mediocre maras gives you 25ish. Finally an anni can give u 20 resists. Add them all up, thats 197 resists alone. If you add the 30 from quests, that translates over 200 resists. If you still die frequently with those resistances, then the problem may not be your gear, but rather your dueling experience. I know necs that roll with less and still win a good majority of their duels.
Secondly, cast rate is more important than damage. Remember that. Say a duel takes place with one guys of equal skill. One of them is doing 4.5K dmg casting at 125%, while the other is doing 6k but casting at 75%. I guarantee you 8 times out of 10 the lesser dmg comes out on top. Many, many people ( god knows how many people i run into in nub games) fail to take damage over time into consideration. Get 125 above all else, that should be your first priority.
Finally, I will just say this. If you are still having trouble with mana, even after doing all that you possibly can to alleviate that, then change your playing style a little. Don't go out and rush into every duel teleporting all over the place and shoot spirits like they're going out of style (sounds to me like exactly what you are doing). Doing that will sure drain your limited mana supply and more often then not, get you killed quick by people who knows what they're doing. Rather, you should study your opponent and learn how your spells work. Learn how far bs tracks, learn how to aim better so that 3 out of 5 spirits that you shoot connect, learn how to run and avoid (costs no mana), and finally learn how to conserve mana so you don't stretch yourself too thin.
Thats bout it, good luck.
