lvling my assy is hard...help maybe?

Yes im back with my assy. I got her through the maggot lair..finally! But shes level 71 in Act 2 Hell. Is this low because shes good but shes not good. It takes her forever to level because she does die very often. I take her back to act 1, but thats to easy, and act 2 is hard, so im stuck. Any suggestions? (this is my offline character so i can't join a group!)

I usually run baal's minions until 75 or sometimes even 80 before going up to hell difficulty. I find it more manageable that way.

Taking any character of level 71 to Hell is risky business and even more so for an assassin. Go back to NM Act 5 and start out from Harrogath with the final goal of reaching the Worldstone Chamber. If you kill all the monsters in your way, you should gain 2-4 levels just by doing that (maybe more than that if you take all sub-levels as well).

And Hell is actually pretty hard if you play single player. (unless you are a cheesy build)

Stay in NM until lvl 80 or so, then venture into hell. After that, you just might have to accept the fact that it'll be very hard and take a long time to lvl your char in hell...

I've never gone to level 80 in nm seems that would be especially hard in single player.. and what's with that /player 8 thingy??

/players x simulates x amount of players(1-8) in a single player or tcp/ip game.

Use shadow master+merc and MB it will really help you stay alive

Ya MB really helps to keep you alive. I use it all the time with my HC sin. Make sure you have a decent lvl of it to keep the stun longer. The conversion however, it more of a pain than help, so watch out for it, since converted monsters cannot be damaged by you.
Also Shadow master has really been imporved in 1.10, so a maxed out shadow master can deal quite a bit of damage.
Still be careful though, /players 8 give you more players, but also improved monsters just incase you didn't know about it.

well there are a couple of things that u can do...I myself, played offline, because it is more of a challenge. What i did was typed in /players 8, which simulates the amount of players in the game at 8, and that way lvled faster. If u don't have good items, do some mephisto runs in Nightmare difficalty, untill u get better stuff. This is waht i did, and it worked. :D
