My new sorc!

Hello I'm quite new in this forum and i hope you could take some time and help me:)

I'm going to do my first sorc! I don't like to do what everyone else is doing so no blizzard or fire sorc. The one I have been working on is a FO/Hydra Sorc and I need some andvice with it!

I figured out 2 setups:
1:
20 FO
20 Ice Bolt
20 Cold Mastery
20 Hydra
20 Fire mastery
or
2:
20 FO
20 Cold Mastery
20 Hydra
20 Fire ball
20 Fire mastery


Or are their maybe a better way to go? I probely going to use her most for mf. I want her to be able to handle meph, andy, pindle and baal!

I think I go for tal set and gul on switch with war travelers or is it any better mf gear i should use?

Come on! Isn't it some who build one of these! I don't want to do an Meteorb or Fo/CL because everyone else is doing one!
I never done a sorc before and need expertise from the skilled ones!

FO pairs well with anything. i don't like hydra. i just ran through a pure fire hydra sorc, and damage in hell was disappointing.

imho, the best possible setup is hydra + fireball, spam fireball between hydra. but, unlike meteor, fb doesn't synergize from hydra.

i was considering setup 1 for myself, but i wanted to see near-max hydra first (@1k damage, 20 in fb.)

so, i would say #1.

The first build leanes towards FO making it very powerfulwith Icebolt together.
The damage of Hydra with just 20 in Mastery will not be great, maybe evenmake problems with killing:

20 Hydra, 20 FM: Hydra damage: 361-427.9
with +12 skill: 954.4-1086.9

like your 2nd build you will get a still very powerful Orb and a Hydra that does more damage, close to 1.7k with +12 skills.

I'd still go for build #2. FO is powerful enough without its synergy. The synergy of FO even gives less % then the ones from Hydra.

If you want to do something fun, effective, and not as common as blizzard/fireball, try a pure lightning sorc. I'm really enjoying mine!
