What to socket an eth Reaper's Toll with?

Shael? It comes with life drain incl. Also, do ed jewels just add to the existing ed or do they multiply the final damage that i'm seeing?

Nothing. You do not want to use reapers toll for a necromancer because the decrep thats in it will over ride your curses.

lol, I'm jk, nice find! but as the above poster said, it's not good for a necro. Nothing is more annoying than another necro overriding your curses, much less a merc!

Yeah but I dont have any other polearms approaching that max damage... So Hypothetically! What is a good idea to socket it with? Will a shael do any good?

check your merc's ias breakpoints (i assume its for an act2 merc) and see if u need it first off.

Ya, shael is normally the choice. I think with another ias jewels in helm and armor will give u optimum breakpoint. Not sure if u need both to reach though.

you can get a viperfork for a few low lvl runes and a bonehew for a mid lvl rune those are better options.
