OT: Ahh, the joys of giving

Through the necroamncer item forum thingy there up there above this here post there thing...I have given out many items to people lately, for free. Trang armor, wands, amulets, trading items for them...ALSO, i took the week off from d2. Haven't played since monday. So i logged on tonight (friday) decided to do a meph run. Very first run..found a shako. yay. (like the third or fourth off meph so far in a month).
After that one run i was happy, so proceded to just rush a few people for the rest of the night...(testing out my new shako on my summonancnercancneranccer...) 39/36 now. Yay
So, this just goes to show you, BE NICE!!! don't be stingy(stfu noob, wug, haha no noob offers==everyone was a noob before), it's avideo game, give away your items(that honestly, you know just SIT there) and the game will treat you back nicely as well. :D :buddies:

Ya I agree I gave away a ton of stuffto the NFF. I actually gave away some fairly good stuff too. it feels good to give stuff away, if you havent tried it you probably should.

I just killed dc for a fellow necro here on our forums...and in game where most people are dishonest enough to take it from the person in his game...I left it there for him to enjoy his very first anni.

To see someone get so excited about getting something that they had never had before...makes it all worth it for me.

I helped fatty get his 2/3/3 darkforce spawn for his vitamancer...though it cost me alot to get it for him...it was well worth it to me too just see how excited he got when I gave it to him.

I always help my school friends to get cool items for his chars, and I always search for better stuff for my brother, nobody has ever say "Thanks" but its ok, I do the searchs for fun, jeje :thumbsup:

Amen, that's why I pick who I dump on carefully. Ocasionally I'll make a "free" game, but I only completely dump on people who I think deserve it.

Heh, I remember a few months ago when Dark Knight got me playing this game again, he helped me out with the odd wand, armor etc, basically enough gear to keep my summoner going. Well in the same night, he dropped an um from the forge, and I dropped an ist.

Ended up giving the guy the ist, and he went and traded it for full trangs, shako, skulders and who knows what else. But when he took his break, he was nice enough to give me his full set, which I've turned into a nice little item hoard, now if he'd just play again, I'd be able to pay him back....

I was leveling my new necro when I came across a really helpful level 20-ish barb. He was polite and honest, always left my gold next to my scrawny pale corpse, cleared my body and just made for a great questing partner. After we got through a few norm acts I asked if that was his only character. He said yes, and I said I'd be right back. I'm not rich by any means and have ****ty MF, so I gave him IK maul and helm, the best barb items I had.

It does feel really good to give something away to a noob, I just like to make sure they deserve it first.
