Why is pindle so tough

I hear of you guys doing pindle runs in "under a minute" when my level 80 pure fire sorc cant even kill him. I usually tele next to the gateway to the "hells of anguish" and let my level 80 defiance merc tank while i blast away with fireball. My setup is:
Shako
Occy
Lidless
Skullders
3 to fire skill ammy
Goldwrap
Chance guards
Rare boots with 21 mf
I do around 7k fireball damage and 14-15k meteor dmg...what am I doing wrong?!

try meteor instead. there's a display bug where it looks like you are hitting them with your missiles but you are actually behind a post. happens to me almost every single time with my zon. you have to move around a little until they start taking damage.

if you are dying, then you need to be farther away. try tping to a wider area, and then taking a few steps back from the merc.

or, it could be the combat bug where if you get hit during cast/attack, the animation will go but nothing is really happening.

my 90 meteor sorc only does like 9.5k dmg and 4.3k fireballs and kills pindle just easy with a HF merc, not sure what you're doing wrong.

I usually just drop like 1 meteor, spam 3-4 fireballs, drop another meteor, fireball a few times, he's dead, really an easy mob unless he's Lightning enhanced or something and your resists are bad.

hmm i dun see what u are doing wrong either..my sorc also does b out a 7k fireball and she uses that and only that to run pindle..ont thing u can consider is to let ur merc wear more PDR stuff..shaftstop and gaze would be nice..reaper's decrep will help to slow them undead down too..i usually run pindle in bout 30 sec and i think there is really nothing wrong with ur setup..maybe u can help ur merc tank better with the above equip.. :scratch:

My mercs a defiance merc, and I really don't have the items to trade for damage reduction gear. I'll try that Meteor, 3 Fireball, Meteor trick out now.

mine's a defiance merc too..looking at ur gear i'm quite sure either u do a fair share of MF :lol: or u have rich friends :lol:

either way, try to get some damage reduction equip cos they will help alot..shaftstop isn't that hard to get..but they are just like 4 socket flails..they are everywhere..but never ard when u need one :scratch:

Thanks guys, I just did 15 runs taking about 20 seconds each...I can't figure out what I was doing wrong before, it seems ridiculously easy. I haven't really found anything worth keeping yet, but im selling the crap i do find.
