View Full Version : Wand + Marrowwalk = ?
Question - I read the marrowwalk bug explanation up in the sticky, just wanted to make sure on something...
When I get a wand with +Bone Prison, I'll have an 'item' Skillpoint in Bone Prison. This wil not affect the 'feature', correct ? I thought only hard placed skill points affected the loss of the 'feature'.

It should still work. Dont call it a feature it makes necros sound cheap.
I thought that the bug only works if you dont have a pt in boneprision.

If an item has +skills to prison I'm pretty sure the feature won't work.

Won't work. As soon as the wand goes on it negates the effects of marrows and your damage drops. Quite a shame really. You were all right, except for those of you that were not!

*uhoh* Then I seriously hope that that neat wand w/ +3 BoneSpear I found and with +1 other skill does NOT hold a BonePrison skill... I hope it's a Bone Spirit :scared:

It's technically not a bug, as the effect of charges working as synergies was intended by Blizzard. The oversight of a lvl 33 BonePrison hence should be a feature of the game, rather than a bug. (Imo anyway :innocent: )

Yeah thats what I say too. Its in the readme for the patch or somthing. So all detractors of marrowwalk feature, screw ya :flip:

Call it what you will. We have been over this more than once and it always ends in the following way: some still see it as a bug (including me) and some will see it as a feature.

It's true. I don't really care either way. I do use the bug/feature with my character, pvm. I don't duel but if I did I would consider it a bit unfair.
If the game can pack 10 gloams on top of 10 other creatures then it's only fair that I be allowed to fight back with an amped skill. That's not the case with pvp.
*sigh*
It's +1 BonePrison on that darn wand... :rant:
Guess I'll have to go shopping ... :grrr:
