today's pker

I was leveling my new necro in act 2 in a norm game with 5 others...when in comes a 86 assassin. Somebody invites it(assuming it's actually gonna help) and as most of the party goes into arcane...the assassin hostiles and kills a druid.

Moments later the pker comments "wasn't even worth it for 98 gold" and then leaves. By far the funniest thing that happened today.

I never have pk'd anyone for as long as I've been playing(1.04) and have only been pk'd only once(when I was a total noob) and started putting tp scrolls in last row of belt(was advice from the barb guru Darius)and still do it today.

What I fould really funny this morning, was here's a norm act2 game with levels 12-16 in it...and a really high level comes in..and try's to kill everyone cuz it needs gold(or was just being a wussy)..and to here him complain about the amount of gold he does get from his dum move...was worth the gold that the druid lost.

And I gave the druid 1000...and thanked him for the laugh that was had.

two best PK stories Ive got are one with a sorc that was using frozen shield on HC, this level 75 assassin dragon kicks or whatever the tele-kick thing is him, and shatters, this all happens in about half a second and the sorc was stood there going, wtf was that? Another was a HC chargadin that tried to get a boner came down the TP right into a walled off area that the boner had put there and got hit with a single bone spear and prompltly died.

It was the gold that the druid was carrying on his person that the assassin got...not from his stash. Though when you die...you do lose gold(just not to the pker in this case)...I chalk it up to the cost of being revived by the game.

I don't play HC, but it would really stink if it happened like that(and I've heard that it does alot)

If you get pk'd or die...bye-bye money. Almost every game I was in today..someone dies and it's like a mad race for his gold...I don't play the gold stealing bs...it's almost as bad as the stoopid bots in my book.

I couldn't agree more. There was one time I got blamed for stealing this one person's gold because I was by it when someone took it. I was only staying there because I knew someone was going to take it, and I wanted to watch who it was because it's just a cheap thing to do, and I wanted the person to know who. So I named the person's name, and they denied it. Named the other possibilty, they denied. Then they were like, "I'm looking at that guy," naming me. Silly people. I wasn't even close enough to get the gold.

Then there was the one time some low level person was killed and his or her money stolen. I went over to them and gave them what they lost from my pocket because I felt bad. Didn't say a word to me. Oh well. It was only around 30,000 gold, but still.
