You cannot "craft" rares, yellow items.

However you can "cube" yellow items. There is a recipe to not only add a socket to socketable rares but to also re-roll the stats on them.

I dont think you understand our replies. You can craft any magical item not a jewel or charm.

You can re-roll any item's stats including magical and rare.

Crafting Recipes are formulas bent on creating new items out of the ingrediants with a general outcome in mind. For example if you craft a caster amulet, you get certain MODs on the outcome everytime because it is a caster AMMY. Like faster cast, mana, etc.... If you check the CRAFTING recipes, you'll understand.

Re-rolling is often confused with crafting. Alot of people think re-rolling is crafting but it is not. Whenever an item drops in the game, certain MODs are "rolled" by the game and thats the item you get. So by re-rolling items you get to have the same item type with NEW MODS. Totally random. Re-rolling ANY magical item requires the item and 3 perfect gems.

Re-rolling any rare item requires 6 perfect skulls an item that can fit in the cube with them. This creates a slightly lower level item rare. One perfect skull and 1 SOJ with a rare item creates a higher level rare item of the same type.

Many people confuse/underestimate the formulas. Meaning some people think the two are the same. They are not. Some people dont even realzie one or the other exists. But either way both are powerful formulas if used right.

In a nutshell its about waht you are looking for as a end result.

damn I dont have that many perfect skulls. 3 pgems only re-rolls blue items. So lets say I have a blue ammy wit ha +1 to summon, so if I reroll it does it keep the +1 to summon skill and adds some other stuff to it or does it get rid of the +1 skill?

No you get a random result i think.

When you "re-roll" and item the attributes RE-ROLL, so no, they go away.

I would suggest re-rolling gcs from hell (Three Pgems+GC in cube), but after you re-roll it once the iLvl goes down so toss it and try another one.

When you reroll, does it reroll the item level also or does that remain the same?

Sigh, wrong wrong wrong wrong.

When you re-roll , all the prefixs and suffixs on the item get re-rolled.

When you re-roll magic items the item level stays the same.

When you re-roll rares with 6 pskulls item level goes down

When you re-roll 1 pskull, 1 soj, 1 rare, the item goes up.

Best rares to re-roll ois circlet class item because you get a bonus to it. Check circlets out,
