Please bear with me because I'm basically new to the game (only played a few months) and I'm very excited. You've probably been through this before, but I just have to shout it out.
So I'm playing my new assassin when a girlfriend messages me from her game telling me Uber was in her game. She, being newish as well, was like what do I do????
So I remembered hearing some other folks stories. I grabbed my 87 Freezealot, and joined her in her game. She's playing a hammerdin that just recently made it into hell.
First we searched out in Stony Field to no avail.
He was in the cave.
At first we got no where. Kept dying, coming back. Losing the battle. We needed strategy. So we started over. This was war. lol
She put on trang's gloves for the spell, and I switched over to Nord's Truncheon for the freeze on top of my freeze aura. I started banging away and realized he couldn't move fast enough to zap me like he did before. She died once, but I kept beating away at him (had to that truncheon doens't have a lot of dmg) ... I kept it going until I had one row of health left and she finally re-grouped and made it back to get her body. I saw his life slipping away and she plugged the curse and the hammers just at the right time because I had only one pot left.
Then he went down! :winner:
Ah the satisfaction and a noob's delight. We did it! :buddies:
