Pierce mod

I'm making an Amazon with Multi +1 other skill.
Today I traded for a Lycander's Aim, and it had the "Pierce" modifier on it. Does this mean I don't need to invest skill points into pierce, if I choose to play this bow? Is Pierce 100%???

I think the peirce Mod is only 33%, but im not sure because www.Battle.net/diablo2exp isn't showing Lycanders with a Peirce Mod. does .09 have a peirce mod?

If it does have the peirce mod, and it is 33% it means that 33% of the time that your arrow hits a monsters it will peirce. i think Buriza is the only bow/crossbow that has 100% peirce.

that's correct. items like razortail have 33% pierce. i have never heard of lycander's aim having a pierce mod though. perhaps it's a previous version.

i believe other items like demon machine and kuko shakaku have 66% pierce on them, and not 33%. not entirely positive about that though.

Different items have different %'s of pierce:

Buriza has 100% pierce.
Demon Machine has 66% pierce.
Stormstrike has 25% pierce.
Ichorsting has 50% pierce.
Doomslinger has 35% pierce.
Kuko Shakaku has 50%.
Razortail has 33%.
Gut Siphon has 33%.

And there may be some more items with pierce on them.

but just a warning, peirce will NOT work with guided arrow. that "bug" was fixed in 1.10
