Question about Dtalon

Is dtalon useful in pvm [coupled with TS and maybe venom] because i plan on starting a new character which is untwinked and i want to have a pvmer MA sin thats still relatively effective in pvp

DTalon is usually meant for builds that focus on the other mods that go with fast attacks (think Zealot or Fury wolf) like Crushing Blow, Open Wounds, and Deadly Strike. Tiger Strike works much better with Dragon Tail (Dtail multiplies the damage, Dtalon only adds the damage).

When you max DTalon, only the first kick will get the TS charge ups. The other 6 or 7 kicks just do kick damage.

TS is a waste of time with Talon, pure Talon deals more damage over time. Venom works quite nicely with Talon.

dtalon sins OWN!! mine (satan-babies) cleared hell at lvl 75!

max fade/dtalon/shadow master/death sentry...rest up to you

i dont advise venom, instead i use lvl1 ts, then dflight tough critters
yes fade, bos is usless...i have fastest attack(7/2/2/2/2), max resist, 35%pdr, huge curse reduce, etc...let r/w charms do the speed thing

guillems face (ias jeweled)
+1 rattlecage....yes im serious :)
rare +2 ma, 20%ias gloves, high res.
+1 gore riders (hardest part to get)
raven, manald
string (till i get nos coil)
rare +1 ammy with resists
...all but gores are crap...but it works...well

bonus; easy and fun to play as, dirt cheap equip, viable pvp

That statement is not true, there is actually a bug with Tiger Strike and DTalon. The bug is since alot of times DTalon doesnt release Tiger charge ups it will usually stay until it's released however since it does that the damage AND attack rating shown on over all damage applies for a number of kicks until it is release making you do about 11k damage per kick. I call it the Stickflick bug. I've tested this in PvP and seen other kickers do this.

Is stickflick random or does it occur all the time?

It is quite random on how it releases but sometimes the effect lasts for a 2 full d talon kicks sometimes it releases instantly. About most of the time it will happen. (Note this effect mainly worked most in PvP, PvM the chances of release is alot higher.)
