Can do Viper [Unid]/Lidless [Unid]/+1 Amulet [Res all, I believe]/+2 Helm [Sorc only] and can possibly throw in more or runes if you need. May have a WSpike as well, or suicide branch [res all, faster cast, +1 all].

Hmm that seems rich but u may be right. I'll work with you Vilencia but I dont want to trade my skullders or shako.

BTW, Himeji I saw ur post on mature friends list. Are u interested in teaming up for some Baal MF runs? I used to run with Pintail Hunter (catkiller) but he quit D2 recently.

I was under the impression that SS was about the same value as Shako, since melee was all but dead and casters were the way to go... could have changed though.

Yeah, I agree. But people are more attached to the items they found themselves. IMO, skullder < shako < SS << shako + skullder.

Many casters use SS, its not limited to melee

To myslef SS is not worht near what others value it, but when you look at duellers and some other people that feel DR is king then SS is very valuable.

I have had an SS on a mule for 3 months and still havent made a build I care to use it on!

its still the best shield in the game regardless, for any character hands down, with the exception of HoZ on a pally
