Why do people always want perfect gems for trading? It must be a recipe but which one? THX :thumbsup:

Normally it's 3 P'gems + Charm = new charm of same item level.

So work out what suffix/prefix your looking for then use that to find out what monsters to kill. Repeatedly kill them untill the size of charm you want drops then "re-roll" it using above formula until you get one you want.

eg... if you want a skill grand charm, either kill the council or kill everything in the jungle (in NM) check any grand charms that drop. Those that arn't skillers re-roll.

It's 3 pgems + any magical item. Charms are not the only thing that are used with this.

Perfect gems are also used in Crafting recipes. Read about Crafting here:

And you will sometimes want to use gems the way they're supposed to be used (inserting in sockets). Of course, perfect ones are the best for this purpose. For example: PTopazes in helm/armor (for Magic Find), 3 or 4 Pdiamonds for huge resists in a shield.
