Intentionally Underpowered Chars

Anyone have any recomendations for IUC's?
I recently made a Leap Attack Barbarian, got him to lvl 58, but the Infector of Souls didn't take to me to kindly for leaping at him

uh... there are ton of underpowered characters.. just need to use outrageous items.. like an amazon with a bonesnap o.o;

A Lord of Mages, a necro with just skeleton mages.

I did that in 1.09, but I was able to get about 30 mages, which seems impossible now. I think its a really weak build now :)

i've always thought the idea of a dual daggar frenzy barb sounded cool, ever since i was a bnet sc newb (played lots of sp before, but not on bnet) and a random dual hork-daggar wielding barb ran a bunch of nm mf meph runs for me. Now that I'm a little more seasoned, I realize that they were his switch, not his main killing weapons, but at the time i thought he was using two daggars to kill- he looked really bad*** (and he gave my new pali a cloudcrack, venomgrips, couple other random uniques/rares that he found for me)

at any rate, definitely underpowered, but looks really frickin cool :D

I dont know Cooner, those things are ITD, and not bad damage and I use to keep one on switch with my Alibaba for final blow and hoarking. Two of them would be sick fast with Frenzy and pretty nasty. In 1.10 they are going to be weak, but I wounder how they are ubgrades!?!?! Muuhahaha

I know a recent Soft core transfer that made Leap barb, got him to about 79+ and thru the whole game with some very low end gear. I congradulated him as I dont have the balls to do it wether I thought it was viable or not!!!

i seem to remember Khell used to have a titan leap-frog barb (all points in str) who used a shopped cruel thundermaul and some other random gear he threw together (nothing too valuable as he thought it was gonna die IIRC) He did pretty well with it, including Kaa runs, etc. Seemed like a lot of fun.

some upped heart carvers would be a cool sight to see. damage would be what, 120ish to 250ish?

I cant remember the name of the articles but the chronicles of the Weakling Punching Sorceress on Diablo2.net were pretty damn funny. That would be my vote for most underpowered.

As for something you could actually play...how about a Fendazon. I hear that they are pretty tough to play now. Maybe a Golemmancer?

Hmmmmm. Not a bad idea. Would make for some interesting skills aswell.

Holy firedin, Lord of Mages necro(necro meles), Summoner druid,(hint:Spirit of barbs+thorn merc), Crushingblow+smite pally(pvm), Lots more.

I love making less used builds. For even more fun try making a char for gambling. Load him up with as much Goldfind as you can and find a run that drops alot of gold. Once hes high lvl you should be shoping metalgrids and sojs regularly.

That would be MongoJerry's article, Irene the Infirm. He has done 3 other charecters including a warcry barb, an enchantress, and a necro that beat hell by only killing monsters that were required for quests.

Dual Fleshripper: 60-228 damage if perfect, -50%TD, 25%CB, 33%DS, 50%OW and PMH, 20% Slow. This is not what I'd call underpowered. Call him JackTheRipper and you are good to go.

shoot for ~3700% goldfind if you make one. thats about the max you can get. with over 3000% greed i've seen single piles of gold drop from hell highcouncil of over 135k.

Regarding the fendazon, I made her guardian in hcl. True, fend is buggy, but the 'problem' is that she can use merc/valk/decoy as meatshields. A melee-zon (no spear/jav/shield) without valk/decoy, and only merc allowed should be more challenging (in fact i'm building a zon that uses 2-handed sword only).

I am still in love with my Inferno Sorc the casting animation is just great. Only problem is you cant use a shield because blocking stops the inferno!

Ditto on the infernosorc. I need to try that again... got mine to around 66 before she bit it in the worldstone. Alas! But big fun. Get a +3 inferno leaf staff, and then pick a decent back-up skill. I think my next sorc effort will be inferno/spike (for the freezing, not so much for the damage), with a decent investment in static.

Made 2 singer barbs, they r fun to play. Atm Im building a charge up assa, which is kinda hard when u walk into hell without resses :D Friend of mine built a avengerdin.
