How do these work together really ? I'm so confused. I got a Nightwing's Veil with +13% cold skill damage and a level 29 holy freeze. When I check the holy freeze damage it shows 1465 - 1485 cold damage. Now comes the confusing part.
without any aura my zeal damage is 904 -1170
with holy freeze my zeal damage is 2775 - 3066
How is this possible ? I wasnt expecting this much. 13% added to 1465 - 1485 should give 1655 - 1678. Total damage should therefore be (904+1655) 2559 - (1170+1678) 2848, but I get more. How does it work ???

Eh, I don't know if you wanna shoot yourself later, but there's a +2 skills on nightwing... ;) that may be what is causing the rest of the difference.

I didnt remove the helm to check the difference, just turned off the aura to see my damage without holy freeze.

That would explain everything there since holy freeze adds massive amounts of cold damage to youre attack. I suggest turning off youre aura then checking what the helm adds. Then take off helm while aura is active record damage and then add helm to record new damage. You cant get good results by switching aura on and off to see what nightwing does for youre cold damage boost.

think I get what you are saying now. My friend just found a night wing, will take a look at the dmg with freeze pally.
