View Full Version : Chargedin Dilema....Please Help

I decided to make pvp chargedin and I have issues with weapons. My gear would go something like this:

Helm: Shako (With perf emerald possibly for dex)
Armor:Chains Of Honor Archon
Shield: HoZ With Cham
Belt: String/Thundergods
Ring 1: Angelic
Ring 2: Angelic
Amy: Angelic Amy
Boots: Waterwalks
Gloves: Bloodfist (For Fhr)
Inventory: 10 Cgc + ar/life/res charms

Now comes the question which weapon?
I have two in mind: Doom Zerker Or BotD Eth War Spike

I have chosen War Spike over zerker mainly because i'm not that rich to afford botd zerker and because i found it :). It's still a good weapon and will give higher dmg than doom zerker and better minimum dmg. Which one do you think it's better?..I somehow cannot overlook dooms +2 to all skills and freezing aura also. If you can think of any better weapon feel free to mention it...any suggestion is good. I'm trying to get over 20k ar and over 15k def with this build and around 5k-10k dmg. Skills are standard, as for second skill to use with charge i'm thinking about smite or zeal...That's about it..btw I'm not on ladder

You should be able to get over 20k ar with the angelic stuff, but you won't hit 15k def with CoH. Use enigma instead. I made one of these before. Can't say I liked it...

beast isnt a bad runeword either, gives u level 9 fana, allowing for u to pump into concentration.

I dont like doom because it can be considered BM, and I hate the cookie cutter botd...

If you don't have a problem with Doom's HF, and you can afford it, then it would probably be the best

Eth Upgraded Headstriker would be great if you can't

Or you can use Famine... elemental dmg+magic dmg. A very under-rated weapon.

Holy Freeze is, even if it is your primary skill, thats why most zealots dont use it. Same with slow, its BM.

I have never seen anyone complaining about exile, and many pallies use it, so I assume that fana wouldnt be considered BM, as alone it wouldnt be considered BM, while holy freeze would.

It just depends, some people believe holy freeze is completely okay, others think its BM. Aura stacking was never BM in 1.09, so IMO, it is just a more expensive way to stck, in 1.09 it was very easy to stack a couple auras, now its near impossible, like the most you might get is 1 hit if your lucky.

holy freeze never is, was or will be bm...if you use the skill itself

holy freeze is in doom considered "bm" because you can stack, say fanatacism on top

In 1.09, many dueling communities banned the use of holy freeze, as in the skill itself. Most of these have gone to the wayside with ladder and non-ladder splitting their ranks now however. Stacking was allowed in 1.09 communites in the largest majority. Basically, since there is like no set up dueling communites yet that have power, I would say just go with 09 standards.

I didn't want the cookie cutter BotD weap when I found my eth 5 socketed Caddy. Cost me a pretty (hundred, million, billion) lot of items but I made eternity in it. It has slow mod, yes, but I don't plan dueling with him.

If I do, then I'll get botd :uhhuh:

BotD Warspike is crap, less range, and with Zerker axe + Max fant, that is 4 frame zeal right there. Get Zerker.

Doom or Beast for PvP only, unless you like repairing your limp runeword alot.

I hate PvMin without an indestructable weap or something like bstar with an ungodly amount of Dur
