Griswold's set for what Palley

Just got my full Griswold set, now I have to decided on what type of palley to make for it. Yes I know it's not the best gear but I just want to build a char to use the set, done that for IK and Mav already, working on Tal's set, next is the Gris. I've already got one using BH and another one for vegenance, think of either making it a fana-zeal or holy Freeze-zeal, any suggestion? What are other equips that goes well with this set and what should I socket in the set. Thanks for any advice you can give.

I'd say either a Freezadin or a Shockadin.

Your damage isn't great with that weapon, but it attacks quickly, so you can really stack up that elemental damage. Also, this set has no leach, and freezadins/shockadins don't leach well anyway. And with all the sockets, you can load the sucker up with cold/lightning facets.

Of course, the set is highly customizable with all those sockets; you could tri-amn the weapon for the leach a hardcore zealot would need, or trick the whole thing out with Puls and see how high you can get the defense on a Defiance/Holy Shield build, combined with smite and fanat perhaps.

Or use just the peices of it.

I would say fanat/zeal with rest in charge would be good.

You could use it for any kind of paladin you want. Personally, I gave the helm and armor (all PTopazed) to my merc for my MF winddruid, am going to use the caddy for some sort of weredruid, and use the shield for, um, I have no friggin' clue. Shael it and hit 1 frame block recovery? cool.

put 4x bers in the caddy for the crushing blow. Take advantage of the speed. Zeal/smite/fanaticism would be best imo.

For PvM I still nominate avenger. It's the only weapon that can swing at 8fps with good socketing, use along with a 1-pt convert for best effect.

Thanks for the advice, I think I am going to try the combination of holy freeze and zeal, slowing everything while I hit them with a fast zeal weapon seems to be a good choice. Probably can go with a mage merc or a fire arrow rogue merc since I don't need the act2 merc aura or tank.

what if you socket let's say 10 of the 12 sockets with ed jewels? won't that get you like a total of 600% ed??? Pure zealot then ofcourse.
