How bout this on a hunter druid... Whatever uber elite bow u feel like usin... and on weapon switch a lacerator winged axe. It has 33% chance to cast lvl 3 amp dmg on striking. So u could switch to it, throw a few times (doin decent dmg with it) get a amp dmg to land, switch to ur uber bow and voila, a lotta dead monsters

Lacerator is an excellent switch... Just keep in mind Hit causes Monster to flee can be annoying... even with a Ranged char.

bah just get a exceptional maul thing mallet two handed with 3 charges of amp on it if life gets that rough. put a Hel rune in it.
or a spellsteal with decrep charges. spellsteal is all sorts of bizarre style going on.
i havent found another one in 2 years mf'ing though. it does sadden me.
Im using an Elited witchwild string with 2x shaels. While its one of the better bow choices for a hunter, I must say, Im very disappointed in the hunter build itself. In case you were about to start one this is my build:
10 Raven
10 Spirit Wolves
20 Dire Wolves
20 Grizzly
20 Heart of the Wolverine
Then theres the remaining points in cyclone armor.
The build IS fun, and does fine in normal as well as nightmare. Hell? A little too weak...

do you have Chains of Honour? do you use a Shako or Jalal's? do you have 4-5 summon gcs and a lot of damage charms? do you cast HoWolverine on a +3-4 prebuff? what amulet, whats your overall damage? i need to get a witchwild so i can up it for non ladder.
will there ever be a end of the season though!? :(

my nonladder, who im remaking, has a 5/5 fire facet in a shako and massive amount of fire damage from charms and kuko. the question remains is whether or not i can complete hell with any flair without relying on HoW and going Oak sage. I'm hard pressed to find the answer for it. getting +% ar is difficult and yet needed to make the fire blast 2x on a monster. yet, merc and bear will have huge life if i go OS.
the AR question, if solved, fixes the Kuko Hunter well.

hm. ok not so bad for skills. maybe its the damage charms that you lack. without them the HoWolverine has a problem boosting ar/max damage.
Ya know, im noticing that chance to hit % really doesnt move much even if you near double you decent level of ar. its really just based upon level im thinking with severe diminishing returns after... like 2000 ar. i mean, i havent ever seen a character who is near completion not be able to hit a monster more often than not.
I am not against ar, but consider that my wolf flaming rabies level 81 guy is still in 80 something % vs hell monsters and he has over 13,000 ar!!!! all he needs is level 90 and like 6000 ar and he will hit more often. also, certain classes just plain wont hit as often even with a high chance to hit %. like a permanent nerf, worst is sorceress, which makes me a bit shy of making melee sorc.
