One thing I'm having trouble deciding though, is what to socket in the damn thing.

My ideas for the IK maul - eithe shael/ohm, or shael/lo - or is it necessary for 2 shaels? I know it hits 5 frame fury with 1 shael, 2 would still be same fury rate, but would it improve initial attack any?

anyways, i dont want to hear any comments about "Ik isnt the best" blah blah I'm on ladder, it's available, the **** you would suggest is not, so sfu already.

I am using IK set on my fury druid as well, I actually think its decent if you're on a budget like me. Good elemental damage.

Anywho, I think the 2nd shael increases the initial frame by one.

Me? I just PvM with it so I actually have 2 resist all jewels in mine.

For PvM I don't think that extra frame would make a huge amount of difference, so go for that bit extra damage. Not sure if Ohm or Lo would give you more. Melee ain't really my thing :)

With an Ohm, the weapon would do 106*(1+2+.5)= 371 max damage.

With a Lo, it would do 106*(1+2)*1.2=381.6 max damage.

So Lo would be a better choice than Ohm. But I don't quite understand why you're making a big deal about only having IK Maul available to you and also asking whether it should be socketed with Lo or Ohm. Those rune are worth about 100 times more than the maul, and I think most people would agree that it would be a waste to use them like this.

If IK is whats availiable,(which he already said wasnt the best), what makes you think he wants to OHM / Lo it? Obviiously he could buy an even better weapon for one of those ....

I'd stick something else useful in the second socket. Shael one, and put an all resist jewel, or a good rare with stats and stuff like that in the second one, or even an ED jewel. Ohm and Lo are too good for it, as has been pointed out.
