Item Fund for Necro Forum Members

I remember the druid forum had this back in 1.09, and it was rad. Now the sorcy forum has one, and it's helpful to newcomers.

So I say we do one here, because I hate hearing how poor some people can be, and I remember how crappy it was when I first started ladder.

So we should have some rules huh?

-No begging for uber leet gear (enigma / high runes / shako's / etc...)
-No flaming should someone not fullfill a request exactly (like perfect magi or something)

Let's try to keep this helpful, and useful to all. This is not reserved for low post count people, nor is it reserved for high post count people.

I know my list is a little high end, don't be intimidated if your giving can't match. Give what you can, ask for something when you 'NEED'.

An excellent idea. I have so much low to mid level stuff lying around I never use, thinking at some point I'll actually go through every mule and combine full Sigon's. I'd be glad to donate some stuff - free up space, you don't feel like you've wasted the items (i.e. selling), and you feel that you helped someone. (By the way, a Bonehew... :clap: ). I'll keep reading this thread to find out how things are going with the fund.

Just one question: How will this fund be managed, and how will items be dispensed?

I would love to get in on this behind the scences. I'd love to be a "moderator" or co-runner of, or something along those lines with this. There used to be a scholarship fund on the newbie boards that I helped run with Chang_Wufei (who is now banned) and it went extremely well.

One thing we did make the person asking for an item do tho was to kinda state a reason on why they needed it (not even a full paragraph is required) so that it was kinda neat because you knew where the items were going and just HOW exactly they were helping the people. (Its fun to hear about other people's experiences :D)

low-mid level trinkets (I never got into mf so no great stuff- but none of it is duped-its all legit) I have lots. The guild I used to play with has disbanded and almost none of them play anymore, so I have no need for my mules. Some of this stuff goes back to D2C but most is post 1.07. I also have TONS of low lvl runes (up to about io and ko) and p.gems plus lots of real oddball stuff. Just let me know who is going to manage it and I'll start dumping.
Unfortunetly, on ladder I'm dirt poor so can't help there though.

The following are all US EAST LADDER items. Most are low or middle, but some will probably be desirable. One thing I learned is that I have a lot more stuff in my mules than I originally thought. I wasn't sure what to include and what not to include, so I erred on the side of inclusion, since you never know what could useful for a necro at different points in development (especially the experimental builds). Not all of the items are great, but all of them I have used for some purposes or another. Many of the polearms were early and middle game merc weapons. Stealth is great until Hell b/c it lacks good resistances. I have some early bows for people who want to use rogues instead of act2 mercs. Most of the rest are pretty self-explanatory.

I should note that a part of me is apprehensive to post all of this because I don't want a bunch of PM's begging for loot. Perhaps I should state here that PMs automatically disqualify one from receiving the item. These problems should probably be addressed relatively soon, since they are bound to emerge. Another purpose for posting this list, aside from offering the items up, is to get this thread going and make a serious attempt to begin distribution. I think gvandale has a fantastic idea here, since I know I've needed a few good items to get started. I just don't want gvandale and the 2 or 3 others of us to be the only people trying. This should be a forum-wide effort, since then we could do the most good for the most number, even those in Europe ;). I'm not sure, but East has strong representation here already, and I know West has a lot of well-off players. All those who have recently posted about your 1337 builds should be especially eager to contribute, since you obviously have a great capacity to MF, so much so that you need to tell us about! :uhhuh: .

I like this idea. Alot of the time I find decent things that don't trade for things I want, and that I have no use for. I'll have to not throw them away, and maybe make a new account to mule them in...hmmm...

I have no problem in helping people, but I don't like just giving help to random newbs because I get called "noob" when they don't like my free items (which aren't bad free items, but they aren't SOJS.)

This will be an outlet where I know that the items will go to use.

My guess is that perhaps we post up our *account_name(s) when we post up what items we have for charity, and the needy can either just /w us outright or maybe just post what he/she needs from who if two people are having trouble meeting, and they can arrange to be on at the same time.

There will be no "begging", this is a "request for aid" type thread.

flaming isn't going to help anybody, whether it you like what their doing or not, as marrowalks have uses other than their bug, and even if so, using bugs is still "legit" for gameplay, as it is not violating the user agreement.

Might I make a suggestion. People are wondering about who should and should not recieve an item. I think an obligation after recieving an item is in order.

If a person recieves an item from another (for example, I have expressed interest in a Bonehew), they become obligated to hold and give the same item when they come across it later in the game. If I get that Bonehew and then find it later I put the new one in the fund to help somebody else.

This will keep the fund from depleting itself and new items are, of course, welcome.

I was thinking that we could set up designated accounts on UsEast and UsWest.

I started a UsEast account yesterday.

The account name is *necroforumfund and I've already filled up two mules. However we'd need somone else to help with the making of an UsWest account. Who should know the password to this account as well? I'm assuming just people that are going to donate a great deal?

I was thinking that I'd pm Fatty, Kbob, jmprockstar, necrochild, gvandale, and maybe DK the password for safe keeping. (sorry if I forgot anyone who was donating a lot).

And somehow there needs to be a list of all the items we have on each realm (UsEast, UsWest, UsEast Ladder, and UsWest Ladder), kind of an inventory if you will. Should this list go into a new thread?

Also what are the rules for muleing now in 1.10? Cause the two non-ladder mules I made yesterday have 10 days until expiration. Is this true with all mules now?

Hey Gvandale, I haven't been posting here very much at all but I have been a lurker for a long time now only posting occasionally. I just barely started playing again and stared up a necro. You have to play each character a minimum of 2 hours for the character to become permanent. So just log on, play for a while and then you won't have to worry. Also helps you get a few WP's so you're not muling in the rogue camp all the time where people can snatch your drops.

I would also like some feedback from everybody concerning my suggestion of replacing items that you have recieved. Thanks.

I suggest Ladder for newbs

Ladder = Economy based on at least findable items
Non-Ladder= East is based on 290s and 32020s (and lots of runes), things a newb can't get.

I've started having misgivings about locating all the items into a separate account only because there might be someone in the future who claims to want to contribute, receives the appropriate information, then changes the account password and keeps all the items for him/herself. I wouldn't lose much sleep if I lost a bunch of items I'm not currently using, since I could probably find more of them with a little MF time; however, it might derail the purpose of this fund. That said, I'll still transfer. I just hope that those of us contributing can make sure the account stays accessible.

I wouldn't tell more then like 5 people the password. I think theres like 4-5 easties that know account//password and we collect and distribute the items off of one account. As for communication, I've communicated alot with Kbob over Bnet, haven't done much emailing or pm'ing.

I didn't put all the Sigon's I have in there, but I think there should always be a full set of that in both ladder and non-ladder just because it's such a useful set for early levels. If we can do that, then we can dump the Isenharts. That means that those contributing should probably not ignore Sigon stuff when it drops but grab it and save it for the the fund (especially the shield! :)) Also, I'm going to dump as much gold as the mules can carry into the ladder mules (I only play ladder). That way, lvl 1 characters can buy the cheesy stuff until they get to lvl 6/str 75 for Sigon's.

There weren't any runes in the fund when I was looking through it, and I wasn't sure if we're going to pool those. At the moment, I believe the East ladder mules are almost full anyway, so maybe we should just hang on to the runes. If not, then perhaps it would be wise only to pool useful runes like Amn and Shael, and anything Dol and up.

Also, someone should definitely put some Khalim's Flails in the fund. I don't have one, sadly, but that item is great for early game.

Finally, how necro will this fund be? I tried hard to put items only useful to necros in the mule, as I discovered how rapidly I was using up space. I didn't put in things like dual leech gloves and Gimmershreds just because they didn't seem worth it. Perhaps we should loosely organize the mules around purpose, making one a "Trang" mule, another a "merc mule", a "bone" mule, etc. That would take some work, and it might be better if two of us set up a game to organize them that way. I find the 5 minute sticking strategy a distant second to actually having someone in the room.

I guess if we get too full we could go ahead and make *necroforumfund2 with the same pass. I didn't realize that this many people play ladder now compared to non-ladder. I added a few little things I came across today onto one of the ladder mules and they're all pretty much stocked full with some good stuff. So maybe we'll have to make a second account thats exclusively ladder and we could organize them as well. Although I'll need some suggestions on how exactly to do this. Do we want all armors on one mule, weapons on another, runes/charms/gems on another, ect. Or some other means of organizing?

I like your suggestion best. I think organizing like this would be nice:

Curse Mule (although I don't think this one would work)
Misc Build Mule (such as melee necro items)

I think organizing it that way would be the easiest way to find an item quickly when someone actually asks for one. I've been on the account a few times today sitting in games and have gotten quite a few whispers from people. I've even had a few necros in the channels recognize that the mule name (necfund-v) may mean free items, and whisper me. :)

Another suggestion, because I'm just full of them.

Check all wands that drop for you. If they make a good white wand candidate then it might be a good idea to go ahead and add it to one of the funds. Hopefully this will cut down on the "Is this a good whitable wand?" threads.

The best part is that we can work together and perhaps convince a few people to NOT use e-bay to buy or sell.

I would be glad to share what little I have, and it would be nice to have a few more pieces (trang belt). I have a lot wands that would be good for a new character, or noob to necros. I have a malestrom for example that I never use and can't bring myself to get rid off.

I can get started on this later tonight. Perhaps, in the process, I could reorganize the items. I bet I could get one of the mules made permanent by getting them to the point when they can wear Sigon's. Then we can store the Sigon's by equipping them on the mules, as Kbob suggested, not to mention some good low level jewelry, like Eyes of Elitch. If I get around to reorganizing and leveling the mules, I'll let everyone here know.

Also, it is a good idea to let the one account stand and improve in item quality. Some contributions are valuable now only for the fact that they got the fund going. For the fund to be successful in the future, better quality items need to be stored.

Bleedblack or some other contributors may want to change the password regularly and do as Bleedblack said he would in keeping the # who knows what it is at a minimum. Those who want to contribute and we may not know could do what HoS has suggested and simply leave account names for contributors to collect and message. Then, the two could make a game, the contributor can contribute, and the mule pick up the items. That way, the fund account//password info doesn't get spread around but the # potential contributors can be safely expanded.

You don't have to worry about me. I have a few un-named rich friends who have helped me plenty to get on my feet on ladder. I have full trangs, a sorc with 400% + Mf, a full IK barb, and more... I only would take an item here or there if it is something I need, or if something that I just want :innocent:

I contribute as well. If I find any trangs armor and such I'll add to the pile, but something like trangs helm pops up, well.. charity starts at home.

We arent here for handouts, but hand-ups.

My thinking behind the low level set items is that the funds are to help low and mid level necros. Putting together some low level sets makes it a little easier for the low level necros.

I actually was thinking about noting that, but if you have max resists already, The partial set gives you +10 to dex and +75 to life. CBF can be acquired through many other sources, and only 1 ravenfrost is needed for that (if it can't be found elsewhere)

Alrighty. I've just started a necro on USeast, account *kaervek666 (is that "*" part of every account name? i forget).

I'd love to get hold of the angelic set to get a bit of a foothold going. Best thing is the extra low level MF helps supply low lvl items *hint hint* and of course it'll eventually get returned to the fund once i start upgrading my equipment.

I can fill in the other slots with basic shop bought MF/GF/wand gear from the shops, its just rings and amulets that can't be bought at low levels.

Im a crazy MF nut so the sooner my MF gets up the sooner i can repay my loan ;)

Cold493: That's a great list of items you contributed. I was throwing a few things I found today in the mules, and I couldn't find any room because of all of them. I had the Bonehew and Trang Belt on a different character, so I'll have to donate those later. I did, however, donate the following:

I'm hoping to have more items to donate soon. As soon as my summoner is lvled up more and is able to run the pits, meph, and baal. I hope to have a lot to donate.

I can prolly take care of inventoring sometime in the next couple days. If we're gonna organize the items tho, I'll need someone else's help. I don't want to risk all the items in a game xfering by myself (especially with my cruddy pos comp).

Another Clean (high ed) Bonehew and a Trang belt are on the mules, now. MuleIII I think. We've reached the point where the crappy items have to go, so I've been dropping them without telling anyone. Hsarus' Belt is the most recent victim; I doubt anyone cares, since that was the item I threw out to put in the Trang belt.

I have absolutely nothing over on US West. My ping is really bad on that server, so I just avoid it.

Baal dropped the Spirit Ward this morning, quite possibly the most disappointing elite shield in the game. It's just the regular Ward (uni gothic shield) but with unbelievably high strength requirements...

I want to mention that we have many partial Sigon's now. I just found a shield, but a friend of mine is holding it because I couldn't mule it at the time.

Currently, the East Ladder mules are rather depleted. All Trang items are now gone, an we have one Maelstrom and one Ume's left. We have some Frostie's and a Bonehew. The rest is largely random rare jewelry that isn't bad but isn't great. If people could start contacting those in charge of necro fund upkeep whenever they're online, we could keep these mules full. As it stands now, I think there are only two of us consistantly contributing and usually with low level stuff.

Finally, I don't believe that the Europe Server has an account. Those who want items on Europe will have to start their own. :)

Okay, clearly the fund has been depleted recently. Trang items are all gone, and we've lost half of our wands. I missed the five minutes when the Homunculus was actually on one of the mules. That sucker went fast..

What you may have noticed is the increase in Sigon's items strewn about, which is good. I admit most of them are mine, so maybe I'm the only one who cares. However, if these mules are to store low lvl stuff more than anything else, then I think we should have a set or two. Again, I have a shield, but a friend is using it. Once he's done, I'll put it on the mules. In the interest of full disclosure, I had one of the Ume's and a Frosties, but I returned them. Now, I'm using a Nightsmoke, which I should only need for a few days.

I think that this is a great question, and one I wish I could answer with certainty. I am pretty sure that Homunc was whisked away, and I'm not happy about it. I wasn't around for the distributing of Trang stuff, but we had plenty of requests for it, Smith being the one supposed to receive it. When Skips needed some Trangs, I discovered that it had all gone missing and unaccounted for. I had hoped that Smith had gotten it (confirm this for me, Smith?), and Skips ended up without any Trangs, although I did give him the Carin Shard we had. I'm going to figure out some better ways of distributing and submit them here when I'm finished. The system may just be too open, and I don't think contributions are coming in fast enough.

I'm sure we can fix these problems, however. I'll post my suggestions later today or maybe tomorrow.

Well here's my tale. I had to to quit D2 around sept. 2003. I was an avid player in 76legit (prolly like 8hrs a day :S) Anyhow...no one ended up keeping my accounts alive, despite my asking many people to do so. So what ended up happening, as I found out on Thurs. when I started playing again for the first time since I quit, was that all my characters expired. Yup..every single one, even mules. Really sucks. I really wanna play with old friends who were in 76legit and are now in clan honor, but of course to do this I need items. I attempted making a wind druid, but failed due to my items (my best item right now is a shako which was kindly donated. following the shako is aldurs boots :(. Well now I'm left with my second fave char, the necro. I know its the only char I could do well with, with low budget gear. Anyway thats it...hope you guys consider me. Thanks.

Currently there are two people with access to the USWest necrofund. We've recieved some great donations and have yet to get any of them doled out.

I think we're going to take an extreme stance by asking for a post as to who the reciever is and why they need the item and then recieving the item from only one of the few with the password (preventing the spread of the items with no accountability). I think an agreement to replace the item to the fund if it drops in a game or when the item is no longer useful.

These are suggestions from me for the USWest fund, in no way does it apply to the USEast or any other item funds.

hello fellow necros, im new to this game and to this board

im looking for a bonehew arm of king leoric and marrowak and any of trangs set i know its a lot to ask but if anyone couls spare any of these items(i dont know any items value so dont get mad at me for asking if these items are very rare) thanks for your time, and i dont have much besides some ok rares gems and lower lvl runes but feel free to ask because id rather give them to people who want them than to just sell them to make room

I quit a year ago because I was sick of waiting for 1.10 to come out.... so now I'm back and the 1.10 ladder is a godsend. No Ith, Occy Rings, Bugged Arkaines ... basically it's great!

Anywho ... I'm starting a Bone-mancer ... and I'm rather flat broke. Some random guy gave me a Skin of the Vipermagi because of some random rune we found ... but that is all I have.

You guys said 'don't ask for crazy stuff' .... but the problem is... I have no clue what crazy is anymore! Could you guys just hook me up with some low/mid/any level bone necromancer stuff? Thanks!

Hello, my story is pretty much the same as everyone else who is mooching off this thread. Used to play (was even on these forums, name of Toast and I posted frequently, had a couple hundred posts) and found D2 again. I looked up the 1.10 patch (I think I quit because I was waiting for it) and it sounds REALLY cool. Viable Necromancer builds? YES!

Now the dilemma: I don't have quite as much free time as before. I got a job and school to balance, and starting a new account will take a long time. Thats why I have appealed to these higher powers.

I am going to be able to play from friday on and will be playing pretty frequently with spring break. I can use anything you can spare, namely MF gear, good low/mid lvl skellimancer gear and Merc. stuff. Again, I'm not asking for much, just what you can spare.

Err.. well, gvandale is being himself (harsh), but he is right to say that the items you have requested we don't have available with a few exceptions: Trang Claws, Vipermagi, and Silkweaves. We may have already given away the first two; I haven't checked the second account since it was first made. However, I'm pretty sure we have the boots, if you still want them.

I hope that you have browsed some of the pages before the last page; you'd have noticed that we are largely trying to equip Necros with low-mid level gear. Any high-end gear is welcome but hardly necessary for us to achieve our goal of helping new players. I mean, a free Enigma? Are you serious? You should have looked at recent inventory posts; that way, you would have known what to ask for, items like Gravenspine, Sigon's, etc.

Okay. Enough of all that. Private Message (PM) one of us (gvandale, Necrochild, Bleedblack, Kbob, or me) with your account name and times when you play, and we'll try to meet you in a game to give you the boots and, perhaps, the Trang claws and Vipermagi.

First of all let me say that I think what you have put together here is great. I always pick up low - mid level uniques from my MF runs & create free games to give away. I think thats way better than just exiting the game with stuff on the ground. Only takes an extra minute or two. Anyway.

I have only created 1 character so far, level 89 amazon (wish i knew about the 1.10 nerfing of zons before i started a multi / guided one). I traded every cool item i could to outfit him (shako, skulders, ss etc). Made some really bad trades though. Now I am relegated to 232% MF runs on hell pit, nm diablo / baal. They go quick but i am on a real bad luck streak.

So i decided to make a new character. After research I decided on a bone / summon necro. I have not been disappointed. He is currenly in act3 normal & at level 24. It's like a completely new game. My current gear is ok but I do not have 1 + skills item. My shield is good & my weapon is ok. I have the runes for a White rune word which i will be making soon. what i could really use is a low level helm like tarnhelm or maybe skin of vipermagi. I would return the items once i outgrow them. I could also donate a venomward & iceblink (i think, unique armor i wear now). I will also check my mules for any low-mid items that may help.

I honestly didn't take a tab of what was offered, taken, and what was left. I did read the posts and had a general idea of items that you guys had. I'm sorry for not knowing the economy right away, I have no clue what anything is worth anymore and I will slowly be learning it back.
(The last time I played Tal's mask sold on ebay for $200 and later it dropped to be practically free. The economy does change drastically in this game and I don't know how it changed while I was gone.)

Anyway, yes, Enigma is uberleet; on ladder, it defines "uberleet". Shako is in high demand presently, so it's pretty much impossible to keep it on a forum mule. Regardless, Lesalius, would you like to have some items for your new necro? I was kidding about not giving out the items (hence, the ":)"). The purpose of this thread, after all, is to help new players, not flame them. :) Message me or the other people I suggested, and they can equip you nicely. We recently had a TREMENDOUS donation to East Ladder. HUGE PROPS for those items.

And don't mind gvandale. Responding just encourages him. The rule he is enforcing via flaming is a good one; the last thing we want is 10 posts begging for Enigma. Ugh.

Finally, I like the idea of announcing big item distribution. I consider Trang belt to be one of those items. I recently gave away one to Skips (while Kbob screamed about rolling 2 four-socket elite armors). Hopefully, that should help out. Ladder traders are merciless, so I think that spared Skips some grief.

Well, I can't pass up the opportunity to kick my pride anymore.

I recently switched from D2 Original (you know, "Those expansion guys take assassins too damn seriously"), and chose ladder to get the best chance at catching up with all of this unfamiliar uberness. I decided to get the ball rolling with a Necro because they've been cheap but effective since the Blood Golem / Maiden days.

Anyway, I don't know my expansion ****, but I do recognize items like the good ol' Wormskull. I'm on USEast Ladder, account name SinKii. I'll look around for the doner contacts, also, as I should be doing the approaching...

Whatever could be done would be a great help.

The one category of items we lack on the Ladder mules is totems. We have a few decent low lvl rares but, aside from the wang we got today, I don't think we have any other mid/high end ones.

I didn't know people still made Dragonlance references.

Anyway, we need to know on which realm you are playing and wether you characer is hardcore/softcore (if hardcore, you're out of luck :() and east or west. We currently only have funds for east and west, and they are run independently of each other. If east, then talk to Kbob, Necrochild313, gvandale, Bleedblack, or me. If west, then talk to Goofycaca.

A whole Trang set is too steep a request, and it's good to see you figured that out before g found this post :lol:. If you just started, you wouldn't get much out of the Trang set anyway, since it would be sitting in your inventory for the next week. How about some lower level items? We can fill out the rest of that Sigon's set. It's not bad for early game. We also have the full Infernal Tools, which would be nice until level 20 or so.

Oh, and welcome to the Necro forum. :) Hopefully, Mad Mantis will be by to greet you officially. Hope you're thirsty.

as ppl get on east they can message me I think the forum mule pass gvandale told me will work but I've not tried it. I'm on alot of time that others are not but I'd be happy to dole out some of my excess that I don't need and haven't given to the mules yet.

I hope people realize that donating / recieving is reciprical... you give you get, you get you give when you can.... this will help to keep us well stocked and ready to go for those in need.

BTW... I need some good eth merc armor. like eth Gangel would benice but what ever is available. I'll put in my atmas to replace what I get.

This is especially for caretakers of the acct. The expiration counters are slowly ticking away. We need to make sure they are made perminant. Also I want to add a Pea-Neccy char to acct 2. who ever's "in charge" let me know if that's ok I'll do it and then clear a timer for one of the established mules on acct 2.

Mathius msged me too a few days ago... I don't give anything away to ppl I don't recognise. So I'm sorry if you're brand new and have a request. Spend a day or two on forums to make yourself known. Most caretakers (i like this title) read different threads in forums and we all read the OT. so post there to get to know us a bit better.

I've got full sigons, spirit shroud, magefist, 2 lore circlets, bits of sanders and misc junk. I'm about 12 hours out of sync with the caretakers so it'll probably have to wait till the weekend as i dont normally get up early in the morning :)

I play in mornings, if that helps some people wanting to donate or receive donations, usually from 9-10 am EST. I'd been doing a lot of "caretaking" recently (not to say that other aren't) but haven't had the time recently and won't for the next 4 weeks. I have a thesis that needs its first revisions and a bunch of term papers coming up, too. I think Pea is right to want to perm the mules, even level them up to hold Sigon's, as I believe either gvandale or Kbob suggested. However, the other Easties taking care of the east forum fund will have to help.

Two other things:

1. This is really a thread for the necro forum funds, east and west for now. Others who want to help out by making private donations directly to other players should be more than happy to do so, but not by using this thread. There is simply too much traffic here for me to figure out what people are doing. Raistlin and littlewiggy, if you would like to donate, then donate. Message the East Caretakers and tell them when you'd like to do it. I think most of them have posted their account names somewhere on here. Perhaps they should again, so you can contact them. You can always try me @ *jmpallstar. I always take time out to accept donations. Either way, try to keep your offers to donate out of the forum, so we can more easily keep track of requests.

2. Those who would like items must consider a few things.

a. No begging for elite items.
b. Browse all the pages; don't just click on "last page". You're missing a lot of importnat information when you do that.
c. Give us your account name, your realm, and your ladder/non-ladder status.
d. Post once. Wait a week. Post again.

I think this weekend we should inventory the East mules, both l and nl, as well as perm some of them. I can't help, unfortunately, because this will be a working weekend, so others need to pick up the slack. gvandale is right about the quality, not to mention quantity, of donations. I have slowly stored up good items I have found to put on a mule when I can get a friend to hold a game open again.

Try to make an extra effort to acquire more Sigon's shields, everyone. I know it's the most useful item in the set, but that's why we need it :)

We don't need to keep creating more mules, at the moment. Many of the first accounts mules have space in their inventories that can be filled, now. Keeping the number of mules low cuts down on the ducking in and out of games.

And, finally, keeping with the rule to mention the distribution of a valuable item, Kaerek666 received an Arm of King Leoric.

Before the G-man gets you, take a look at the necro guide to figure out builds and point distribution. Pretty much everything is covered there.

As for items, give us all the information like account name, realm, lader/nonladder, hardcore/softcore, etc. This let's us know who will be able to help you. Take a look through the rest of this thread to get an idea of what you are looking for and what not to ask for.

Hey everybody, I've been away from my necro for a bit and now that I'm using him again (mostly for helping other chars in hell), I realize that I still haven't come across a trang's belt. Luckily that's the only piece I need, so if there's still one on the West mules I'd appreciate a hand.

I also have a number of lower level necro items that I don't need (various unique daggers, Grim's Dead, +2 summon circlet, Undead Crown, etc.) that I'm willing to donate (whether or not I get a trang belt, although I really do need one ;) ). Skimmed through the thread pretty quick-like though so I'm not entirely sure who I need to contact to make the transaction. At any rate, whoever is in charge of the West account, let me know somehow (reply/pm/bnet) and we'll arrange things :)
