View Full Version : KTA 3.0 It really was Hell
Hi All,
7 members of KTA met up to do the final stages of Hell, starting at Act 3. Starting towards the end of Act 3 to be precise. After killing the council and Meph, we moved to Act 4.
First we toasted Izzy, Heph and Diablo, then it was of to Act 5. A higher level character entered the game and gave us the WPs, so we decided to start with rescueing Anya. We needed to be weary in Crystalline as those Succubi really pack a punch that hurts, especially if 5 or 6 of their red glowing balls hit you at once.
Down to Froozen River we went, and things were even toughter. More Succubi, Sirens, and Gloams. We were very cautious keeping close to the edges of the map, slowly moving around looking for a froozen Anya. We ended up going the wrong way, so one of our Sorcs, did some teleporting and honed in on Anya.
"My TP to Anya" came the message from th Sorc, so we stopped our backtracking and headed for the TP. 3 of us went down first, the Pally, the Barb and the IceSorc. Things were quiet .... too quiet .... and then our Mercs got frisky and set off some monsters. 3 seconds later we were being hammered by massed Gloams and Succubi. It was not possible to stand in the same spot for more than a second, as the elemental attacks from the monsters was simply too strong. We also did not have alot of room to move in, with a wall behind us and water infront. The bridge to the next landmass was covered in monsters. The rest of the team arrived to a scene full of mayhem. Gloam lightening and red balls of succubi pain where flying all over the place.
We headed for the TP to exit from what was turning into a kill zone, when the IceSorc got zapped by a mana-draining Boss which emptied her mana bootle in the blink of an eye. Before she could rejuv, or exit the game ... she died. 4 other KTA players had to ALT / F4 real fast to stay alive, while the Pally and Barb made it back via the TP. We had the advantage, of not requiring mana to move, unlike our unfortunate Tele Sorc.
The TP was well and truly trapped now, and we felt bad at the death of our Ice Sorc, so we just had to loot her gear. We stated back at the entrance to Froozen River and very slowly made our way to where her corpse was. Using the 2 steps forward, 1 step back method, we were able to take out all the Gloams, Sirens, and Succubi and retrieve the gear of the dead Sorc.... then we proceeded to locate and rescue Anya.
However we got jipped ! We could not get the quest in this game. We were going to have to do it all over again. however we were abit gun-shy of Gloams and such, so we put this off til later ...
Our Dead IceSorc, came back with another Character, an LF Zon, who we gave all the Sorc looted items to. Then the Zon joins us when we went after the Ancients.
Getting to Arreats Summit, was 'fun' as the monsters were Lightening Immune ... which meant, the Lightening Fury Zon, the Lightening Trappersin, and the Lightening Sorc ... were not able to kill very much at all. This is where our Fire Sorc really shone, so while the rest of 'tanked' the monsters
she provided the killing power.
The Ancients themselves were not so tough, although a TP was hastily put up, when a single hit from one of the 3 stooges, left our pally with a splinter of life. A very close call. The 2nd time ... it went alot better, the Ancients died and we danced on their coprses :)
While all this had been happening ... various "xxxx SOJ's have been sold to the Merchants" messages were displayed in the game. Would KTA get the chance to fight the Diablo Clone ? ..... in the end, we had done all the quests we could in this game and still no clone, so we moved on as we wanted to check out the rune drops from Heph.
5 River run games later, as the result was ...
UM, HEL, LEM, MAL, UM.
Bnet was playing up badly, and during the next game which was for muling purposes, I got dumped and was unable to return. I am pretty sure it was the same with the others ... I so called it a night.
Barring any more mishaps, 1 more session should complete Hell, and those remaining alive should get their Guardianship... however the thrill of this is lessened by the death of our Ice Sorc.

I've just happened to read my PMs and I realized that there are 2 new ones. Well, I am really bussy lately...
Firstly, I want to thank you Chill for the nice post encourageing me for my next DII/RL steps...and sorry for not answering you but I really read it today for the first time.
Secondly, thank you Mag for inviteing me to GAT forums, I'll register ASAP. Nice idea btw.
If I get my hands on DII CD (a friend of mine playing with my key recently) would you mind me joining some hell baal runs with you (gotta get use to it again)? Ofc with KTA-Solid...what time do you guys usually play now (KTA/non-KTA)?
Btw, nice post again Syxx, you should write a book like "KTA adventures - the whole story" and make lots of $$$ of it :lol: (and you would).

Hi all,
Sorry that I had to leave you all in the middle of the game for some time, as I had a friend coming over. Of course the fact that Baron's Chilly_Witch bit the dust makes it worse, because I wonder if my Oak would have helped a bit. Then again, that situation might have killed me as well and being well equiped just makes people over confident (sorc teleporting in an area where the whole party is constantly fighting for survival - I am pretty sure I know who that was :clap: )
Funny how the CS and Forge runs seemed to be pretty safe all the time, though we got constantly whacked by spells.
IIRC, the party lost a MAL and Skin of Vipermagi while b.net acted up. I guess we will toast Baal on Monday..and then I think I can delete RagReborn right away. What a useless piece of fur :lol: Well, I enjoy playing him..but when your sole purpose is to stand and stun monsters, because you can't even kill with a Bstar, you feel kind of oafish.
Next party: Skellymancer or Conviction Paladin for me. If this outing has shown anything, it is that the skills count and equipment is second.

Thx Ham for the Pala stuff you gave me, I didn't get around to thank you properly last night. The shield will be a big boost for my Frost Zealot.
If anyone else of you wants it, or if you Ham want it back, I got a Baranar that I will not use at the moment. Just whisper me online and you get it.
And Tloopz, I left the game after a couple of minutes thinking you got realm down or something. I picked up your full juvs, so you'll get them next time, your barb will need them against my l33t BarbPwning Pala :p
Hehe, as I said in the beginning, Frost Zealot do one thing only, but they do it good.... they freeze stuff :) I wish I named my char Kung_Bore in retrospective...

edit: Very much R.I.P to Baron as well. He did a good job holding out at the tp (I stood next too him) but when they all hit you at once, auch. I left you all behind and fluxed, just hoping that all would get out of there alive.

Hehe, I couldnt think of what was wrong when I first looked at the pic of Diablo, but then I realized that there are no "pics" of the party in the top left corner. I had forgotten that you can remove those a long time ago since I always have them on.
But how about the game name, why doesn't the game name and difficulty (Hell, NM, Norm) show top right in the pic, can you remove that too? Not that I would, just curious how you do it.

Well, I "Z" the pics away because they cover too much of the screen for me. The difficulty you don't see because I "tab" the automap away when I take screenies (never liked that on yours :lol: )

I have to admit that when Syxx Necro bit the dust in 1.0 the sorcs (me among them) never wasted a thought and just tp'ed back to town. That just seems to be a reflex of survival. I have it adjusted a bit these day. RagReborn plays with a finger on the Full Rejuv button...and in Pubbies I have an even faster exit against PK's
35 skillpoints unspend...Bear survives, Lycantrophy and Oak maxed...what a wast..what a waste..

No, feel free to host as many pics as you like. You can say that I was the official Photografer in KTA[1.0] and KTA[2.0], but lately I've grown out of it a little, so please by all means share your pics with us.
Only wish I can make is to keep the small pics of the party in the top left corner of the screen visible all the time, that way you can see who are joining the action.

Morning guys (and gal). Although I lament in the untimely death of my sorc KTA_ChillyWitch, she was nearing the end of her useful life anyway. After KTA 3.0 she would have been consigned to a life of running the Mausoleum, and that is no way for a proud spellcaster to end her days.
The death was immensely avoidable in itself. I had plenty of time to either exit or swallow one of the 4 full juvies waiting in my belt, but as soon as I saw my life beginning to drop, and my mana bottle empty, I panicked and began bashing random buttons like some neanderthal!
I guess my years of SC safety is still dogging my HC life. A bit more practice in fluxing would not go amiss methinks.
Maybe I could help avenge her death a little by helping you end Baals reign of terror once and for all on Monday? My LF Zon has a rather apt name for the job, ' Swift-Vengeance'.

Sorry to hear about the fatality, I hate gloams with a vengeance - but at least some looting was done. I will practice Alt F4 for Monday and hope to see you there!

Well, Chiller..we should quickly do Diablo and get your HF reward. We all need Anya...and maybe we reroll Frozen river if we get a Gloam Pest again. IIRC our "catch-up" run for Anya (I needed it that time) was Gloam free, while the original run was hell.
Ancients is nice, I leeched them in town last time :lol: (as I was afk). Shouldn't be hard to be Guardians or Toast in 2 hours. Then the question: New KTA team on wednesday..or do we run Baal some and start Monday, march 29th.
I personally vote Monday, gives us all one more day of fun together and a weekend to think who wants to quit, who wants to join. Do we twink for 4.0 and only go untwinked on the next ladder? Do we recruit and maybe get one twinked, one untwinked team..for ppl to choose. What characters do we play?
Keep bumping this thread guys and gals..have kta on the frontpage.
Untwinked gets my vote (for what it's worth). Get some more practice in for the next ladder season, which I believe is due to start sometime in 2008.
If no-one else from KTA wants to go the untwinked route, I would go with the idea of recuiting for 2 teams and offering the choice of 1 Twinked 1 Untwinked.
Lets see what we all think first though.
I want to play untwinked, definitely..and I hope for a team that has a core setup of Sorc with at least s.th like 5-10 pts static, A Paladin that can provide at least a medium sized conviction aura and some kind of barbarian.
I am currently trying a blessed Hammer Paladin, which I believe can work nicely if he uses a conviction aura from time to time (use Concentration mostly, but switch to Conviction in real tough places of hell)
.. So I am agin open to all sorts of characters..would even like to try the "BunnyBarb" :lol:

What if we were to do a testrun for the PKTA-team, sort out the problems that can arise. Just to try it out, so we do not loose time testing when the ladder resets. We should go on a mass killing spree so that when it resets we are ready to go.
Edit: Maybe get a team to normal baal, somewhere in the 30's, you know, the lvl where you can equipe shafts and stuff. About the tags, no tags for this run, however i would go with tags when the ladder resets, that way all the smart *** pk's will start to hunt us, and i say let them, so that we do not have to hunt for them.

Yes, we have discussed about going PKTA (PlayerKillThemAll) some time. More for a laugh than a serious discussion so far though :)
About next team I don't know. I have a high-lvl barb, a sorc and a Pala I'm vary pleased with now. Untwinked I've played two times and enjoyed it alot, but second time around was not as fun as the first, so I think I will skip a third untwinked team.
As for going twinked I think I will skip that too. Not that I don't want to play with you all, but I think I will do that in a large degree anyway in casual games outside of monday/wednesday. I have a few things (studying outside of work, and soon maybe a move too) coming up so having a scheduled time plan is not so good for me right now.
As for my plans right now, I have had a taste of my high-lvl Pala. He can hold his own if there are not too many people in the game, but I have come up with a better build already using the same items I'm using now.
So I think I will build a new Pala and try to get him to lvl 80 as soon as possible (this could however be done in a twinked team, so I don't rule out the possibility completely yet?), and after that concentrate on PK'ing/hunting/duelling/general teamplay.
C U online, and thx for the many wonderful moments in KTA-games so far :D

I personally don't think I will be able to keep to the dedicated playtimes that we have set for the team guys - so I may have to beg off the next team:(
As it is I have only been there for about half the time, and have only been on time once!
Would it be of any interest to run seperate teams on Monday/ Wednesday? - possibly a team with a later start time as at the moment there is not a way I can see to guarantee 2 nights/week - and I don't finish work until 19.30CET earliest now. I don't really want to be leaving you guys totally tho:hanky:
Anyways what ever happens - I've had a great time up to this point and KTA-Babe is ready for Baal on Monday!

That's 7 ppl, a spot is free (we could hold it free for Chiller...her "only" problem is that she only joins a bit late ;) )
I know that Baroni is totally anti-PK and there are quite a few ppl who would like to play another untwinked round (maybe this time with a more balanced party than 2.0?)
So guys, plz either place your ideas here. I for one would not mind seeing all areas of the Flayer jungle again, so I vote to go with the original idea of untwinked, explore a lot (not all, mind you..don't wanna go into every pit, tunnel, temple etc).
If we play with an untwinked team, I think we need characters that can provide strong elemtal attack and still be viable solo players like a cold or fire sorc with Static, LF java and at least one Paladin that will at times provide a Conviction aura. As kind of a "spell backup a Necro that has LR". Skellies or BD would be up to the preference of the player. Of course, a Barbarian would be nice...as would be a Druid....but I think the Druid is the most neclectable character :scratch:

Syxx will be visiting the Land of Blighty (UK) from the 2nd April to the 18th April for a holiday, and I doubt I'll have internet access during this time. Then in the beginning of May I'll be away in India with work for 2 to 3 weeks.
I think this pretty much cuts me out of KTA 4.0, which is a shame as I would love to venture with you all. Count me in for KTA 5.0.
Hey Silver ... I had the same probem as you, but unlike you, I kept Diablo, and lost the wife ... hehe.

hiya all,
i am back after the weekend... and what a weekend it was...
realy bad wether, with LOTS of rain and even more wind. so we stayed at home, and catched up on a lot of missed sleep :sleep:
anyways.. back to the discussion here.
if i could choose between twinked/untiwinked... it would be UNtwinked for me for sure. it just that i have never done it, and like the idea of such a big new thrill. also i would suggest going completely UNboosted, so no higher lvl caracter who brings some wp's.
as for the team, certainly for an untwinked team, i think the following caracters should be present.
* necro, using skeletons a golem and mostly CURSES. especialy dim vision is THE solution for souls/gloams etc. and decrep is just to nice to to have versus any realy though boss.
* barb, battle orders... nuff said :uhhuh:
* druid, specialy untwinked the life is just to good to risk NOT having, so OAK... and after that maybe elemental skills ?
these 3 are a MUST... if i might say so. gives TONNS of life, and those skellys are the best meat shield one can wish for.
this should take care of the survival of the team, and after that i see some options to get the killing going.
1 going elemental (including a PURE conviction pala, and then sorcs and a lightning javazon)
2 going physical, and then moostly the ranged version. (this would consist of at least 2 palas (concentration and fanatism) and then moostly bowzons... also the barb could be trowing and the palas can be using bows as well)
3 going physical, simply going melee (requires the same 2 palas for their aura's and probably an enchantress)
4 going magical/poison combo. (what comes to mind are hammerdins, bone necros, poison necros, poison javazons, where poison can be backed up by conviction and lower resist)
option 1 would probably be the safest and fastest killing, but not nececarily the moost fun.
i don't mind to much what caracter i play, i have experience with moost, and like them almoost all.
anyways... i think this should be discussed a little more later on, first of all...
go teach that baal guy a lesson tonight guys.... i think he deserves it :drool:

hmm.. it seems i forgot 2 of the moost important caracter there are...
the freeze arrow using bowazon, that freeze is just soooooooo nice... specialy with some cold charms etc, even in hell everthing stands still pretty long.
the trapper... mindblast for stun, and a shadow to take the punches. dealing fair dmg as well.

Well, Kevman was interested in KTA because of the untwinked aspect, which means we have 3 ppl voting for untwinked.
We met Vectom online yesterday, and I have a little hope he might join in. Or Mal..? Are you lurking there somewhere?
Only time that I won't be able to play is Easter Monday and the following Wednesday.
Anybody else, who is occasionally popping in and enjoying our threads - this is the moment to put yourself forth, if you can play Mondays and Wednesdays 19:30 CET for 2 hours.

I'm also for going untwinked this time, not cleaning up every damn place but still visiting most of them, as was mentioned by det. I'd like to play pure Orb sorc this time, if others won't mind.
Btw, if there still is one more free spot, could my friend possibly join? He's completely new to b.net so this could be a good oportunity to start for him (especially when going untwinked) and he plays necros :) ...or are there already other applicants?

Well, I have been wanting to play a Cleric Paladin for ages, and I think that in an Untwinked group he would be a major help.
He doesn't boast the conviction aura that would boost the killing speed of the elementalist, but the first rule in HC is to stay alive, which will be helped enormously by a Cleric.
Oh and as a bonus, Gloams will fall like tiny little flies to the power of Holy Bolt/FoH. Revenge for the brutal slaying of KTA_ChillyWitch will be sweet.

Well, the way I see it, you and your friend are welcome :clap: We would have a full team of 8 ppl and could rock off on Wednesday 24th ..or Monday the 29th.
Vectom, since you are the first one to actually put a character choice forward, I will put that down. Would be nice if your sorc gets a bit of Static (I had it maxed on my Orb Sorc, but 5-10 pts would probably be enough. Static is "THE" biggest HP reducer in hell. 50% in 3 clicks, hehe. We don't have a Necro yet..just keep in mind they are not easily played party friendly..lots of Keys to assign, lots of curses to cast. Is it possible to have a Conviction aura that can be toggled on at need..or is there no way this aura figures in with the Cleric build?
That said..I don't see why we should not have 2 Paladins and/or 2 Necros, if more raise their hand to play one.

i have to agree with det that the necro is VITAL, and probably the moost difficult caracter in this team... for both his curses, AND the skellys...
2 necros aint a good idea.. since curses don't stack, and more skellys aint needed. so unless 1 is a PURE bone/poison necro this doesn't sound good.
the cleric ould be nice... don't how this works... but seems good..

I only said it that we could have 2 Necros if we wanted..and maybe one holds back on the curses. But even if we "only" have one Necro, he should please be able to provide Amp Damage, Decrep, Dim Vision and Lower Resist as is appropriate in the different situations.

Holy Bolts are magic damage that only kill Undead monsters. Since Gloams are Undead creatures, they are extremely easy to vanquish with a few well placed 10k damage holy bolts :)

shouldn't we first discuss what kind of party we want?
i mean... for caracter choise it is pretty important to know if untwinked or twinked. and i think it is also very important that the team is a good team... more important than the individual caracters.
maybe we should decide first whether we go elemental or physical.
whether we go offensive or defensive. (offensive means making sure we kill them before they kill us... needs lots of firepower. defensive means lots of croud control ... like mindblast, curses, freeze (arrow), shadow, valkery, bonewall/prison, warcry (stun) and healing)
not that the choises made so far rule anything out yet.... :jig: but we don't want to come to the point that everyone is happy with the car he/she is going to play... but as a party we suck? :rant:
so far the cleric and the necro are a solid base for virtualy every team i can think of, the only other "must have" is a barb with max BO.
the FO sorc points in the direction of going for elemental main damage dealers... and that could well be a very good choise.
anyways... maybe getting to know what everyone would like to play first, and then see if we have a decent team could workt to. i am pretty sure however that the result will be much more efficient if we do it the other way around.
one final note...
i DO however recognise the fact that we are looking for FUN with KTA... and while efficiency for me is part of the fun... it is certanly not the only part.
p.s. i thought about the 2 necro thing, and came to the conclusion that it IS very well possible... as long as only 1 of them does curses everything should be fine. 1 curses/psn necro and 1 skelly/bonewall/prison etc necro could do very well.
not that the choises made so far rule anything out yet.... :jig: but we don't want to come to the point that everyone is happy with the car he/she is going to play... but as a party we suck? :rant:
I wouldn't worry too much about that. As long as you PLAY as a team the monsters will drop rather quickly, unless you all go melee Druid :lol:
Not that I will be an active player in KTA[4.0] but seeing to that everyone is pleased with their char and having fun playing them is the most important thing according to me, ask Tloopz if you are in doubt ;)

My druid managed a solo clear of the Chaos Sanc/Diablo in Hell (no solo Baal runs yet but I am sure it could be done!)

Well, the moment you get a barb into the Party, you have a physical (or magical) attack..dealt melee or range. And unless you want to force the Druid player to be a Wind Druid, he also has the choice to me a Shapeshifter.
Paladins, when using Conviction or Fanaticism as a main aura are most likely to play melee as well.
Of course we could get 5 sorcs..but trust me, it is not so much fun for the guys who are just there for BO/Oak.
I rather lay down what is a "must" IMHO, and have everybody make their choice..or adjustment.
I am pretty sure even a party with 3 sorcs, 2 skelliemancers, 2 Paladins and an assassin/javazon could survive without BO or Oak. Think about Fanaticism Skellies and Convicted monsters under tri-elemental attack. Everybody max block and resists..who needs BO anymore?
Like Magnus said..only really suxxor party would be 8 Druids or 8 Barbs..then again...maybe not :lol:

If you pull that off with an untwinked team, hence wielding crappy to semi-crappy weapons I congratulate you ;)
I think the Druid simply lack the dmg boosting skills for it to work out good untwinked.
/Magnus... who loved Druids in 1.09 (had 3 different builds), but 1.10 kind of disappointed me in that regard.

1 a bow using skelymancer, using curses as well
2 a bow using sorceress, also known as anchantress
3 a bow using concentration pala
4 a bow using fana pala

No..puleeeezee...don't start this. We start half of KTA's party with new members..lets do it right and untwinked from the start.
I am like Kevman open to most builds myself...if I am a barb, it will be no melee however.. Druid I was last time around. If i am a Druid again, it would be a Wind Druid.
CL sorc sounds fine, but we might should maybe jiggle this around a bit..if we get a CL sorc, a trapper should specialize in fire traps, I think. We don't want a CL sorc AND a lightning trapper AND a LF zon now, do we?

I have been thinking about my possible Cleric Pala build for a while now, and playing around with some possible combinations of skill point allocations. Here's what I have been thinking.
1) Go full on Cleric with max Prayer, Holy Bolt, B Hammer and FoH - 1 point in defensive auras for all round aid.
2) Go Semi-Cleric with 10 points in prayer, and 10+ Points into Conviction. Party is still healed by Holy Bolts, but not as much. Bonus is mid-lvl Conv for those elementalists in the group.
3) Go Cleric-Lite with max Holy Bolt/Foh/HShock/Conviction. Very nice for the elementalists, and has a decent Lightning attack himself. Down side is that it is a high mana build because of the need to spam FoH.
I will think on it some more. If any of you have some ideas, I would like to hear em.

Hey Greenfire, maybe this guide will be of use to you. http://www.rpgforums.net/showthread.php?t=145293 It is a trap variant that uses alot of shadow skills to aid the party. Sounds like the kind of thing you are planning. It recommends using Lightning Sentry, but I am sure it can be adapted to use a fire trap.

In that case we would play other times though, something like KTA 4.0b team? :lol: ...really am not sure about this.

thanks for the guide, but i already have a trapper and aldough that is a lightning trapper i am pretty well known with all the shadow stuff. when making that trapper i also red all the trapping guides availeble.. and this one to. thanks anyways
as for your cleric...
i don't think that conviction and being a cleric go very well together. since when we are in battle you should have the prayer :worship: aura on... and only 1 aura can be active at the same time. also putting points in conviction makes the cleric build a lot weaker, since you need quite a lot of points for the synergys.
i think that if we want conviction we should try to have it from another pala, while you mind your core business.... keeping everyone healty (except for the undead :evil: )
Baroni, I like options 2 and 3, maybe 2 most..as it gives you good killing power and us ample conviction in case we really need it.
The nice thing about DS is, that it is a synergy for both, LS and WoI. And there is one skill that makes the range of the fire longer. MB is often cast by the SM, but I found it to be quite handy with 1 pt on my sin. You are bound to find +skill stuff, even in untwinked play.
Update (plz mind that neither Tloopz, nor Ham have said anything..and their word will be quite weighty) ;)

as i understand right what vectom poosted they won't be able to be there for more then half of the time (on average). :scared:

if 45.. we could start at 20:00.. and you guys pop in 15 mins late and catch up real quick... if 90 mins this might pose a little problem. as starting even later then 20:00 would force me to leave before the 2 hours are over, thus not solving the problem.
p.s. i am also a BIG fan of conviction... but a half conviction aint really good (in that case lower resist will do just as well) .. and with full conviction the healing factors of the cleric are in real danger.

He's just lvl 30, started him this weekend. But aiming to get him to NM Baalruns for the upcoming weekend.
After I traded for all the gear needed for my Frost Zealot last week it suddenly became clear that a Tesladin would benefit far more from them so I decided to make one :)
My old Frostie will go from a 4 fps attack with no Crushing Blow to a 5 fps attack with CB and more DS when I get the gear and time for it :)
What do you think of your build, does it work well in hell? (despite needing a re-build)

some lightning sorcs (chain lightning, lightning, nova, and charged bolt)
some lightning javazons
a trapper or two (lightning of cource... DUH)
1 non lighning necro for the lower resist...
and of cource 8 act 3 lightning mercs
would be killing thing so fast that you wouldn't believe it... i guess
I think I will go for the FoH/Conv pala route. I think that Conviction is alot more important to the group than being healed. There will be a little bit of healing going on anyway from the FoH holy bolts, so it isn't completely lost.
Going that route also leaves me with quite a few spare skill points since I will only need 60 to max FoH and it's synergies and 20 for Conv. I will probably go for alot in holy shield, so I can tank for the casters too.

About the times...we should be there from 20:00 to 20:15 on Monday and at 19:30 (no problem) on Wednesday. I feel a bit sorry for Chill now, since 20:15 and 20:30 is not that big difference and if you would be able to "wait" for us, why not wait another 15 minutes for her? I know that with this attitude, we could soon begin at midnight...well, it's just up to you guys. You decide, please.

BUT... then we should really be able to start at 2030... since 2230 is already a little over my limits... Well, this is getting a bit over my head right here. We should not forget that 19:30 for us is already 20:30 for Tloopz (and Magnus, Silver..when they are playing), It was already a bit of a problem to push times back to 19:30.
So I would love to get Ham and Tloopz input first. We managed to KTA 1.0 with 7 ppl, so I don't really see such a big problem if a couple of guys are a bit late on one occasion (or get a second team with Chiller going).
And if we really need to recruit 2 more ppl, I guess ther would be a few nice ppl that Chiller or magnus know at GAT (or even here) that are burning to join KTA twice a week :lol:
And as I said..no response from Tloopz or Ham yet..at the rate we are going, one of them might drop out and the other wants to play twinked (*keeps fingers crossed...lets hope not*)

Standard KTA-times have been mon/wed 19.30-22/22.30 CET!
That turns out to be 18.30-21/21.30 UK time and 20.30-23/23.30 finnish time.
We pushed it to from 19 to 19.30 CET when chiller joined in KTA[2.0] so she wouldn't miss so much.
*det - For me and Tloopz it was ok since we live in CET-zone.
Silver though lives in Finland, so he was the one staying up late, but 19.30 CET was ok for him.

No Worries Vectom - the team is full for this time anyway - and I think unless you are lots quicker than we were in KTA 2.0 it would clash with my wedding/honeymoon plans:)
I would hope to come back for a blast of KtA ladder running - or at the very least weeding out the non KTA ladder runners with Ham, Magnus, Loopz and ADSL

I think it would be wise to start different KTA-teams, each in their own time-zone. We keep starting later and later, pretty soon people will have to stop KTAplaying because it will start to late.
Think about, it would solve alot of problems. And the teams can always interact at their own conviniance.
Without mixing in with the KTA team, whom I cant play with anyways ( Lurking at the SP forum, I am :p ), I decided I'll add in my 2 cents on the planned Cleric ( funny that, I always suggests Clerics for this type of teams )
If you want to be a Cleric, you have to commit yourself, not to just use holy bolt, but to primarily use it for healing. Therefore, we start out with prayer and holy bolt. None have pre's, so that is 40 points.
Now, to make prayer useful as an aura, we want to use either cleansing or meditation, which both gets the same healing effect as your level of prayer, INCLUDING +skills. est of all, only 1 point required in each, now at 42 points.
We would also want salvation, for the times when we get gloams and other nasties, so thats 43 points. ( Note how few wasted points we have so far? )
time to give our bolts some damage, so that those nasty OKs and gloams don't get away, so we max Hammers as well, for 1000% bonus dmg :D, now at 63 points, and probably not even in hell yet...
Now there's two options: Either we go for more damage, by using up 24 points to max FoH, or we go for more TEAM damage by using 25 points to max Conviction. And honestly, this is a matter of how the rest of the team is built. If you have many melee/physical attackers, nothing gets you more friends than maxed Bolt damage for 10k dmg OK/gloam nuking. If you play with mostly Sorcs/Javas/Trappers and so on, They will kill these things much more effectively than you anyways with Convivtion on, so just patch them up when they need it, and they'll be fine. Not that Bolt can't kill things with only one maxed synergy, but a lot of ranged chars will do it better anyway.
Now we're at 87/88 skills used, and we have some optional but useful skills to add in ( they should really be added as they come, as none require more than 1 point ) Holy shield at lvl 1 + a few skills will take you a long way. For only 3 points, its a bargain. So can redemption be, this one also at 3 points. With 4-5 + skills, you mostly require a quick flash when you have a breather to get your fix...
Total, we are at 93/94 skill points, level 82/83, wich will probably mean late/finished game for a team like this. Hopefully you end the games with a lot of lives saved and a 6-digit HP-Healed-Count. Have Fun!
And by the way, your option number 3 should really not be an option... If noone else can supply a better source of lightning damage, you need to rethink the team strategy. A cleric without prayer is no cleric!
And for greenfire10: Prayer does not need to be active, and actually should not be, as it costs mana to keep running. I'd rather use Meditation and get 300% + mana regen, and the same healing effect :D

Thanks Ehtirno for the advice on the Cleric. I think I will take your advice and go for a max prayer/hbolt/bhammer, but I will wait till I see what the team will be before choosing Conviction or FoH.
