Boots gloves belt was thinking all ik or ik boots/gloves/string

Ammy ring: angelic ring/ammy/???

Charms: Max dmg/life charms

Also does speed not work with ww now, and its run/walk that work with ww?

Anything that isn't a weapon will not recieve both of the bonuses from an ed/max jewel, I believe only the ed applies and not the max, though I could be wrong on that detail. You'd be better off with a 30 ed, ed/str, ed/dex, or ed/other jewel.

WW definitely is effected by IAS, but only the IAS on the weapon, just as before. I'd recommend shaels to hit the relevant breakpoints (http://diablo2.ingame.de/tips/calcs/weaponspeed.php?lang=english), but I'm partial to PvM and speed, PvP tends to ask for more damage to get those 1 hit kills so the other player can't chicken away.

It seems 3 shaels will hit 59% ias bp. Really? I thought ed/max was only bugged in armors, thanks for clearing it up.

I would definitly say 3 shaels in the hone sudan.

As for your boots, why not travs? The 15-25 damage is VERY helpful, the 20 stats never hurt anyone either! I think they are better for most pvp barbs, this one included.

Cant say I know the rest at this point :) If your life is low, (aka you are lazy like me, and dont wait the extra 2 weeks to trade for 30 small life charms, and just go with what you have :) you might try a ruby in the shaft? Thats what I did on my assassin, and I was not dissapointed, you lose 30 max or 60%ish ED that way (by socketing rubies in helm/armor over damage jewels)
but gain a good deal of life, espically on a barb, with BO and all.

As for your boots, why not travs?

I always thought Travs had a level 42 requirement.

also bfists, string, waters would be good substitute.
anglic is the way to go
armor shaft or ed 3 soc life armor.
guilmmas is good
if i remeber, only the max in ed/max works in armor, helms, shields.
and with pvp, either you need 1 hit ko or many rapid hits, so go for shaels.
well, now you mostly need 1 hit ko cause of las chingadas with chicken

me and some friends tested out a rare max/ed jewel in a helm and it seemed to work....maybe only normal jewels are bugged

3 sheals is the only way to go.


I personally don't like shaft stop, I find that it's quite over rated. I'd prefer a nice 3 socket lifer with max jewels.


As for gear:

Bloodfists : You don't need alot of dext or anything.

String : duh.

Angelics are a good idea. If you can find 2 rings with 100+ ar and some tastey mods go for it.

Boots : Waterwalks seem your best option.

I'd chuck a point or two in zerk...You'll be moving quite quickly for swinging and it may let you plug some one who's got chicken


By the looks of it I can tell that you're going for the crushing blow and since I made a druid around it, I gotta warn ya. As nice as it is, taking 1/10th off, if they have any DR at all, you start to get neutralized in effectiveness. Looks impressive if you're opening attack does 1/5th of their life, but after that 1st hit you do substantially less. I believe Goody has a 38 barb that you may wanna dance with.

I'l proly go prubied for 15 max shaft untill i can shop a nice life/3 sock armor, ive given away like 5 of them to friends duelers lol.
