bury for werewolf?

my friend says it's a great weapon, because of the insane speed with fury and the freeze target... Any feedback on this?

It's been held as a good fury weapon for quite a while. bows and x-bows don't use up ammo when used in wereform, and have a range 1 melee attack.

I'll wait for someone who plays WWs to give you a better reply.

it was good in 1.09 but frankly there are better weapons now, (for cheaper in trade value even)

well an ethereal cruel feral axe of quickness was the best in 1.09 and probably still is although its extremly rare.

and "easier" and nearly as good weapon would be an ethereal ROBO great poleaxe.

ethereal 6 socket great poleaxe socketed with:
5* ed/ias jewels and 1 zod.

this will give u 1xx - 57x dmg and 7/4/4/4/4 frame fury with a range of 5.

i used this back in 1.09 hell cow runs and it decimated cows and would still be very good these days.

a cheaper option and still nearly as good would be a cruel giant thresher of swiftness/quickness (30%/40%) and 1 shael + ed/ias jewel or 2 ed/ias jewels respectivly.
also instead u could use a cruel great poleaxe of quickness with shael + ed/ias.

I'm now using the buri, but, when I wanna boost dmg, do I pump str/dex?
with the xbow being used as melee, I have no clue...

u pump dex, although ur using it as a melee weapon its +dmg is still based off of dex just as any other bow/xbow.

I used to use Burrito back in 09... it ruled...
now, well.. i wouldn't mind tryin out an uped Burrito, but i'm plannin on makin a BotD eth archon staff for my pvming needs... i just need the Zod and Vex (yeah, i wonder how many people say that)

That's an awesome weapon, 500-700 damage and only 18 str req.. p_O

am i the only person that knows this, i've posted it before:

buri's (or any bow-xbow) count not as melee attack, but as ranged. so don't fear IM anymore. and don't worry about arrows or anything unless you use normal attack.

this is fact as of 1.09 and i doubt they changed it in 1.10

Is that true for throwing weapons as well as bows/xbows? Gimmershred for example?
