Eth Yari build

Hi, after couple days of trading I finally got the Eth yari, although only 180%. After upgraded, it does 100+ to 694 damage.

Couple questions:

1. What build should I use to maximize this weapon power (i.e. 45% CB)
2. Should I just give it to my merc? With guil face he'll be doing 70+% CB.
3. What to socket in it, i know 3x Shael if I go WW build. But what if I give to the merc, I am thinking amn eth eth.

I think I asked about crushing blow last week, and someone said they use a werewolf build with its fast attacks to take full advantage of the crushing blow.

IIRC one eth should be enough if the merc is a decent level

For a werebear using it with 3 sheals, the fastest Maul he can get is 10frame with 40 Ias from gear. Which is fairly slow

With Fury a wolf can get 7frame with 3 sheals or 8 frame with 2

IMO go for a WW Barb sicne WW does trigger CB

I looked at druid fury build, amazon jab build, none has the the survival skill a barb has, lol BO and Shout is king.

So look like i'll be putting it on my merc :) until I find good use for it. So Should I socket Amn Amn Eth then? I don't think I need the shael in the weapon, I can socket 2x ias jewels in helm and armor to get to the next break point for merc.

I am drooling over possiblity of 3x 40/15 jewels in that weapon... arggg 40/15 jewels.....

for a merc, one shael works wonders (takes you from 8fps to 7fps) with increased jab speed. I would go with Amn Amn Shael.

Out of curiousity, what did the eth hone cost you, trade-wise?

I paid a shako + mal rune. This may be overdone, i dont' know, but I tend to over trade when I suddenly have the urge to get some item. Oh well, lol.

no i think that sounds about right -- I was offered an IST for mine (after I had already upgraded it) and turned it down. But I am considering using mine for a leap barb. Ghostly Death from Above!
