wizspike vs cant remember name wand

I am a lvl 82 pvm bone necro in hell and my resists and mana are quite low; my mana is 500ish.

I have maxed bone wall, prison, spirit, and spear. I am trying to max teeth last.

My spear and spirit are lvl 30 with my current equipment including the +2 wand. My wand also has 20 fcr and other mods like mana and life but no res.
One more note, my fcr is 90.

I was wondering if i should use wizspike over my wand for even faster casting, more mana, and more res.

post all your gear. that can help us twink your setup for optimal stats. wizzy is great, if you have the dex (common problem when not planned on using wizzy), then go for it.

since you are a boner, may be you would like to have white, ideally with + 3 Bone Spear and + 3 Spirit. white give you loads of boner friend mod that is very usful. it add to your already powerful damage too.

think about it, I personally would go for high damage rather the faster cast. for PVM that is, all is for mana efficiency. PVP I go for fast cast speed.

I think there is a new 1.10 wand is as good as if not better then white. take a look at the item db you shall find it.

here's my gear in case anyone comes in again:

wand: rare wand-type with +2 skills, 20 fcr, some life, some mana, other useless mods.

shield: rare necro head with +2 skills, some resists, other odd mods.

armor: 30 all res vipermagi

helmet: rare circlet with +2 necro skills

ammy: +2 necro skills

ring: ravenfrost, manald heal, rare ring with 11 all res 10fcr replen life+5 some life some mana

belt: some decent rare belt

boots: war travs

gloves i forget

inv: 1 pnb gc

you should socket that head with a pdiamond and try out the white wand (a good one will have 8 to bonespear total)

they can really be great items, if they are done in good base wands. I would suggest one.

The wand you got isnt bad. White vs yous depends on whether you prefer spear or spirit an if you use any other skill trees.
