How can I increase my AR...?

Well, as u see, I'm new to the forum, but not new to the game. I've been playing D2X for a while, but I still don't know all the things I want to know.

I have a Barb: an Iron Skin with ww as main skill first purpose is PvP... I chose ww cause I find concentrate a little bit dull.
@ lvl 82 patriarch with all quests done:
- max axe mastery
- max bo
- max shout
- max ww
- some pts in iron skin, nat res, incresed speed and the prereqs...
- 1 point in conc

Gear:
- Arreat with cham 174%ed
- SS with um
- Stone Armor archon plate 185x def
- Dracul's 14str
- Verdungo's 36/14
- Gore riders
- 1 angelic amu, 2 angelic rings
- anni 1/11/11/6
- 2 War Cry swords on switch
- Beast Berserker Axe (31 str, 262%ed) or Razor's Edge sock Gul
- stash full of small life charms of vita
- 2 GC combat, 2 Gc war cry

Stats and...:
- 217 str (didn't plan to get a Beast at the begining)
- 75% block
- rest in vit -> 4450 life @my lvl
- 16xxx AR, 36%DS, 60%OW, 35%CB with Beast
- 14xxx AR, 86%DS, 85%OW, 15%CB with Razor's Edge
- 18xxx def with ww
- 22xxx def with conc
- medium dmg: with Beast: ww, 14xx; conc, 17xx
- medium dmg: with Razor Edge: ww: 9xx; conc, 12xx

Strategy:
- I'm counting more on getting my opponent to bleed with OW than to hurt him with pure phys dmg.
- Result: it seems to work better with Razor's Edge, than with Beast and I don't quite figure it out...

Questions:
- Actually I've heard of people having like 25k AR and 25k def also. Me, I'm not quite thre :rant: How else can I improve my AR? How efficent is Demon Limb?
- Any other sugestions and input would be welcome.

DemonLimb is very efficient. It offers an AR boost of +218%.

Your Mastery also gives around 220% chance and Fanaticism gives 80%.

With Demonlimb (Lasts 11 minutes), I'd give you a Very rough estimate of about 20K AR for normal attack with Beast.

Yo have 25KAr/Def... your life would take a hit without perfect gear. If you're unhappy, you could always trade in some of those Vita charms for AR. Or better yet, Ar/Vit

One small thing, Verdungo's isn't the best belt for a Barb imo. +%life doesn't work with +Vit from gear. Making it much less powerful than it could be. But since you don't make much use of leech and it's mainly OW.... it'll do well enough.

I guess that's more or less all I can add since I know very little of PvP.

What belt it is recommened then?

I'd probably go with String for a normal damage build...(Leech is better than a non-boosted Vit) You get only 144 Life. (Equal to roughly 60life from charms with BO)

A crafted belt belt would be nice if you didn't need the DR. 24%FHR, +30STR, +100Life (Which IS boosted by BO)

Blood belts can have that in addition to Life leech (3%), Open wounds (10%) and even more life (+20)

%ll is not imortant in pvp now... And I surely need that 14%DR in PvP.

Ok, but what do u do against palas and babas? I'm planning to beat those, not all other caracter builds around. And what's ur lvl? Got to say, ur equip is prety expensive.

Just use the angelic combo against those heavy defense characters... 1.2k base ar or 2.4k base ar multiplied by all your bonus should up your ar a nice ammount...

Dont forget about Metalgrid ammy too. I really like that amulet...its tough to give up the DS on Highlords though...but big Def and AR boost. Then use a second ravens...this is just an alternate option instead of the Angelic combo.

My lvl 91 barb has a setup against paladins and barbs:
Arreats (ED/ias)
Eth zodded valor
EBOTD zerker, 395%
SS (Ed/IAS)
57/17 Steels
Verdungos
Gores
Angelic Set

Stats:
6 K life
25 K Defense
dmg is somewhere around 1.5 K - 5K WW
AR is 28 K WW, 31K berserk

The Valor boosts ur defense considerably, giving at least 25K +
Angelic as previously mentioned by iceball will give you at least 25K +
in those kind of melee duels, AR and Defense will save you. This is for Defiance pallys, and decent barb duelers, who mostly do not use enigma, and have over 20 K defense.

Well, actually, the point is that I use the angelic combo (2 rings and the ammy) and the Beast BA, max mastery and max ww and still don't have 28k AR: have 16k...

My Stone Armor has 185x def, that's 2 or 300 lower than ur eth Valor... and have 18k def...

Right u r lvl91 and have another +2 skills from the valor.

Does 9 lvls and +2 to skills make such a big difference?

So, tell me plz, what do I miss, here?
