faster cast rate weapon wont work if u wear full tang set. and the casting rate is very slow, is it a bug?

Yes it is a bug, and Blizzard claims it will be fixed soon.

Really quite annoying, after I pump dex to have 75% with trang's shield, I find out it dosn't matter

actually i've heard it does work
It just throws you into FHR animation instead of block animation (as there is no block animation)

I heard that mages are useless with Trangs. I can't tell the difference though.

You mean skeleton mages? Why would Trang's affect SM?
FCR doesn't work? Put on a wizspike and see for yourself, it works... Ofcourse you won't see a difference if you don't reach a breakpoint, did you try with more than 10% FCR? ...

D00d, this is a well known bug. When you equip full Trang's your FCR goes to zero. Doesn't matter how much you use.

It's not a bad necro set but there is better stuff out there you should be working on trading up to, I think. And since it's pretty sought-after I think that you'll have to pay more than what it's worth to get it. I guess it depends on your build and what you're trying to do.
Maybe weapon speed?
I'll test it with Fleshripper and Wizspike then, both -20 WSM and the other has no FCR while the other has 50.
Wizspike is slightly faster (tested with spamming Fireball), I'd have to scrounge up more FCR items but the only other FCR item I have that I can use without "deshifting" is a +10 FCR ring and I doubt it'd hit another breakpoint.
Anyway, FCR working or not is irrelevant with full TO set, as the only build that really needs it is the Bonemancer, which in turn doesn't "fit" the set bonuses as well as the Poison and Summoning trees. Spamming Poison Nova isn't necessary (unlike many seem to think, old Nova sorcs?) so FCR loses it's importance for a Venomancer.
just use partial trang set innit, get that fire wall is main thing, if you can get metor fun too. personally I will swap the armour with bramble when I get there. metor and firball syn. so get 4 pieces.

in that case, I hope full trang set have a penalty of like - 20 life drain in act 2 or something.

But a big bonus on regen when you have to do the Tainted Sun quest.

Last time I compared the displayed damage and what Chippydip's skill planner reports with the same skill levels, the damage looked like it wasn't synergized, only increased by the Fire Mastery. Was surprised to see that, but I guess +oskill's don't synergize...
I can't access Chippydip's planner for some reason atm, but luckily the german site has one now too. According to that planner, my Fireball damage should be 736 - 844 instead of the 436 - 490 that the game is reporting.
I hope the Fire Mastery increases atleast the Corpse Explosion's fire damage part.
I have my chance to block at about 65% with my Trangs set. Whilst playing with some quill rats and archers I would suggest that I was blocking quite effectively, though no animation is there.
