Ive been using my crescent moon Phase blade for a while now and its working fairly nicely. my question is that should i consider any other weapon for my tesladin, or is the stats for a crescent moon too good to pass up. i play ladder, and i dont have the funds for a BOTD or the sorts...was wondering maybe about azurewrath or something...thanks!
You might consider Storm Lash. Azure Wrath is cute, but doesn't exactly have anything over Cresent Moon save better damage vs. LIs and a faster swing speed.

IF the -35% lightning res works with the melee lightning damage of holy shock, then crescent moon beats the crap out of a 4 facet grizwold's scepter. It is faster (which matters when you aren't packing fanaticism), has static field (vital for bosses), and has ITD which is also very vital for a tesladin (naturally low AR due to no fanaticism).
