View Full Version : BERBERBERBERUMUM 6 sock PB FOR SMITE viable? LOL

Hi guys,
i was just wondering if i 4 X BER and 2 X UM a 6 sock phase blade (80% CB, 50% OW) would that be feasible? i would only need 10% IAS from gloves to hit 6fps smite. Also, how effective is CB in smite?
Zeal Question:
Is crushing blow or deadly strike more effective in zeal? What should be my Effective AR to score hits often? 20K AR??
any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

crushing blow and open wounds do work with smite though. how well crushing blow works in pvp i have no idea, but using um is always a nice idea for pvp.

yes i believe they do, i hate this sword, whoever would ever make one is an idiot, it is the most pointless thing ever, crushing blow doesn't work in pvp buddy, you're wasting 4 ber's, give one to me plz.

i've never tested it but i've heard cb does work but has the pvp penitaly. ( wow i cant spell ) but yeah crushing blow wouldnt do much. u'd probably do more damage without it.
u could always try using heavens light (33%) guilams face (35%) goblin toe(25%) that would be more than 4 bers :) just to test that is.

Black Runeword Flail wouldn't be bad either, but I've heard CB is not a huge factor in PvP.

Open wound is only better if you are hitting and running to let life drain. If your just smite to smite (click and hold)then I think CB works faster.

I think u need to have some faster attack to get the best attack rate.
u should add a 15% all resist/15ias jewel instead of a ber rune
There are so many items that give crushing blow anyways, so I don't think it's worth using 4 BERs. The items mentioned above are just a few examples of cheap but effective items.

please dun ever say that again, that is why i quit my zealot, not skill involved:
please do not ever click and hold in a smite vs smite duel unless it is strictly smite vs smite (no charge allowed)
that is by far the most boring thing ever, much thanks to the temple duelers for showing me the boring repetition of such a 'skill'.....

there are better runeword options then this u may want to try doom, kingslayer, silence. doom has HF with is nice, silence has +2 skill and rsist witch are good. i like the silence for smite, imo is the best the +2 and resist help a lot, zeal u want dmg and speed, in pvp CB is only 1/10 ad say u hit some 1 with 3000 life, that 300 dmg, next hit will be less. use a item with the speed for 4fps attack and most dmg

No, I guess I must have missed it...I can't say for sure that I was referring to anyone's post in particular, maybe I just made up the 'click and hold' complaint of my own accord, but from an educated guess I would have to say that yes, I did read your post. If I hadn't, why would I have posted that?
And my complaint wasn't directed at you anyways, from what you said in your post, I would not be one to assume that you would ever give in to that 'strategy'.

ultimate killers r open wounds...
of ur smite have above 50% of open wounds... thats it...
a 6fps smiter kills all melee chars except itself...
